I retained Rita for an uncontested divorce in 2010. Her retainer was more than reasonable. I think I paid a $1700 retainer and her paperwork showed she completed it for around $1200; very honest. She also seems very experienced and as a result, was very direct and to-the-point. She said what needed to be said and didn't waste time discussing things that didn't need discussed. Everything was filed where it needed to be and all expected paperwork showed up when I was told it would. Was happily divorced as soon as permitted.

Screwed up my Bankruptcy. Did not want my house and car included in the bankruptcy. While in the actual bankruptcy court records it wasn't included the reaffirmation agreements were not taken care of in time. My credit suffers drastically from this mistake and in a year have been frozen for the most part. Leonard, Key and Key are unwilling to help correct, what I feel like, is there mistake or at the very least there responsibility to help correct. I was even willing to pay for the services so I am not sure how or why they wouldn't take care of it. I have spoken with a different attorney and am having to pay for services to correct the error. Nice people, but terrible mistake with zero follow up. I should add that my emails and phone calls were avoided promptly after I discovered the issue and tried to get it rectified and the Bankruptcy was discharged. I recommend really researching your attorney of choice, as well as get educated on bankruptcy proceedings before filing and hiring an attorney. I would never ask a lawyer how to build out his office or have the knowledge of knowing how to do it as it is not his profession, it is mine. I feel as though I should not have had to know this and is exactly what I paid him for.

We adopted a little girl with Stacy's help. The entire process took 6 months from start to finish. I've heard horror stories about some adoptions taking years. We are so greatful to Stacy for all her great work.
