From calling the office and Oscar advising me to come right in. Oscar was very caring and listen to me from start to finish. Very up front and honest. Amy is very knowledgeable and passionate and always went above and beyond to help me and answer every question. Anika was very friendly and always made me feel welcome when I came in. Jeff takes the time to listen to everything and is honest from the get go. The office made my case very easy from day one. Not many people take the time anymore to put the care into the job and that is exactly what the office did. I can not thank the staff enough for everything they did! Amazing people!!!

Mr. Eaves did a great job helping me with a 12 year old case. The DA was dead set on wrecking my life but Mr. Eaves got me the best plea we could get. The Felony charge was deferred. I received probation instead of prison was a blessing. I am pleased with the results of my case. Yes, I wish it would have been dismissed but The DA wasn't having none of that. I live in North Carolina and Mr. Eaves got my case resolved in two months after turning myself in July. I'm so happy I don't have to come to Texas again with this case hanging over me. The law firm you need to hire with no question. They take you in from the start and fight till the end. Eaves law firm came highly recommended back in 2018 but I didn’t listen I hired another lawyer which turned out to be a terrible decision. In 2022 I had a motion to revoke my felony probation and once again my Houston lawyer said get the Eaves law firm on hire so I did. I was nervous for a number of reasons. Still I always felt like I was in good hands anytime I had a concern if it was Oscar or Jeff they had an answer for me. I had court for the motion 2 weeks ago and the outcome was amazing the motions were dismissed and dropped. Was also able to work out a deal on my remaining community service hrs. If you want a great law firm I highly suggest and encourage you to retain Mr. Eaves.

I hired Jeff at the lowest part of my life. I was wrongfully accused of third degree felony injury to a child by my husband’s ex wife who was attempting to gain leverage in a custody battle. I had, to this point, never had any run ins with law enforcement and was always a respectful, productive member of the Wichita Falls community. After review of evidence, Jeff told me he knew I was innocent. There was no evidence. He fought for me harder than I ever expected. Jeff and Oscar were always a calming presence in an extremely stressful situation and, for that, I will forever be grateful. Ultimately, the battle went on for nearly five years; February of 2017 until December of 2022. After roughly 12 pre-trial hearings (some extremely last minute with notifications being sent over holiday weekends) and being jerked around by the district attorneys office, being arrested (Jeff also acted as my bondsman which gave me even greater peace of mind) after arranging a book in/book out with the police department, and very obvious interference being ignored - it’s over. The result wasn’t the best case scenario with the charges being dropped entirely, yet Jeff secured my freedom with no jail time other than the two days I served 5 years ago, no fines, and ultimately we settled at a class A misdemeanor (extenuating circumstances made fighting the charges altogether in trial extremely risky) that likely won’t have much impact on my life as a whole going forward. The final hearing was also completed over zoom being I no longer live in the state of Texas and I was financially unable to get there. If you ever find your self in need of a criminal attorney in Wichita Falls, Jeff is the way to go. I would hire him a million times over. He’s worth every penny. I owe him my freedom and I’ll never be able to repay Jeff’s team for what they did for me!

My lawyer helped me get my case dismissed from CPS from when they thought I was abusing my stepson I recommend this lawyer, he is good at what he does he really take the time and understood what was going on and seen how serious I was about this case. And took action.

Due to Covid and the court system shutting down, I thought my case would never come to an end. My case started several years ago and not knowing the process or the horror stories of the legal system I was very scared, I first went to Jeff Eaves after a couple of visits with other attorneys. My case was a burglary. I had no money due to a long-drawn-out divorce that was allowing my former spouse to control all the books and money. I was desperate for some food and was too proud to ask. It was a stupid mistake and as the saying goes, “desperate people do desperate things”. I did and I was sorry for my mistake and admitted what had occurred. Jeff and Oscar were great in getting it resolved. I had another court case in small claims court, and I handled it myself where there was another accusation thrown at me. I was mad and upset and wrongfully blamed others. It was not the way as painted by my accuser. I was arrested and scared. Contacted an attorney who several of the inmates recommended while spending the night in jail. I paid the fee and listened to Mr. Payne’s sweet talk. Then 2 days prior to my probation ending a violation of probation was filed. I had a perfect record and never missed check in dates with both the bond and probation individuals. The Mr. Payne never presented me with offers from the Assistant DA while all the while telling me we can beat this. So, I waited until I had a hearing to violate my probation. I had pictures, a witness who passed and emails showing it was a vendetta because the accuser was a friend of my ex-wife and her boyfriend. Mr. Payne did not present a defense and I did not know that your standards of proof are not the same as they are when you are not on probation. I lost and my probation was violated. The Assistant DA was pushing for jail time of 2 years. I was very angry when I got a call from Mr. Payne and he said take it! You will not get a better offer. I hung up the phone. I was so angry and devastated that I reached back out to Jeff Eaves and what a God Send! He and Oscar got in and did some highly remarkable damage control. They salvaged a case and a person who felt like there was nothing to live for. I have 2 types of cancer and other medical issues as well as a great career and just thought I would be defined by this for the rest of my live by a conviction. They saved the day and never gave up on me nor my case. They have stood by my side and are still there as we resolve some minor issues. I have not let this ruin my life nor define me. Like Jeff says on his website “the prosecutor and law officials ARE NOT on your side.” I will make myself available to tell anyone of the need to hire no other than Jeff Eaves for any legal issue. He dug in and fought for me. He knows the law! He has been on both sides of the fence and knows exactly what needs to be done.
