Hiring Ryan was a tremendous life saver! Highly recommend Ryan Streich to anyone in need of services. He was able to get the case completey dismissed and the charges dropped. Not only was he diligent, but he was professional, courteous, personable amd caring. He was very straightforward and transparent throughout the entire process and definitely goes above and beyond your expectations and keeps you informed every step of the way. His passion and integrity in what does definitely reflects on his character. Ryan truly cares about his clients and seeks the best possible outcome to his fullest capacity. He was overly knowledgeable and took the time out to explain things very thoroughly. During a very time sensitive matter, Ryan impressed us and overly exceeded our expectations. No need to look for another Criminal Defense lawyer, Ryan is the best there is!

Ryan is a great person to work with and I’m glad I was able to find him for my first arrest. Out of all the consultations I had, Ryan was the only one I felt who was genuinely listening to me and wanted to help me right away. Being a full time student, working a full time job, and dealing with COVID quarantine made time management a bit difficult but Ryan always managed to quickly respond to any questions I had. Ryan was able to get me on just a year probation. 6 months into probation I worked with him again to get me early termination of probation and everything went smoothly. Ryan will always have your best interest in mind.

I hired Ryan after my first arrest. Knowing absolutely nothing about the process any terminology I was a nervous reck. So he sat on the phone and explained everything for 2 hours before I even hired him! I can’t even begin to explain how helpful that was. I felt so confident with representing me. He helped me through everything and I’m eternally grateful for that.

Coming from out of state, I was in desperate need of legal council. I made several attempts to contact attorneys by phone. Ryan Streich was quick to respond. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. He was able help me in a timely manner. He’s very personable and really listens to all your concerns. I was very grateful for all that he had done.

Mr. Ryan Streich gives exactly he quality care and time a defendant should receive by a "Super Lawyer" like him.... From the beginning he was super resuring, listened to everything I said, and always promptly responded to concerns I voiced. I was hesitant on choosing a lawyer without face-to-face meeting, but something at Ryan when we first spoke, gave me my gut feeling to hire him for my case. I was being defended in a very difficult drug case so putting the case in Ryan's hand was hard, but the whole way through he held my hand. I myself never had to appear in court which amazed me, Ryan's took care of everything! He puts in the time, effort, and truly cares about what he does... He is the BEST OF THE BEST! If you are in the Wichita Falls area and want one of the best lawyers in your corner... please call him! Overall 10/10 experience and I could not thank him enough for his time and work...

Ms. Marsh is what i like to refer to as a pitbull. She will give 1000% to your case whatever it maybe. We hired her to represent us in a custody case. It was grandparents (us) vs. Biological father. It was a long case 3 years long but in the end we overcame the parental presumption and our grandson was allowed to stay with us. All due to the hard work and diligence of Ms. Marsh

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. What potential outcomes can I expect?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Wichita Falls, Texas?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
