Divorce is never fun, Darin made it less miserable. I had a complicated and contentious divorce and Darin was able to help me understand the process, make suggestions and offer guidance in a way that I could understand and made sense. Fingers crossed I don't have to use him again but IF I find myself in need of any changes to my existing decree or need to change stipulations he will be my first call.... Darin, here is hoping we don't meet again! Thank you for as pleasant an experience as possible given the circumstances.

When my ex filed a custody suit against trying to claim sole custody of my son I was immediately filled with anxiety and dread. You always hear such horror stories about single dads losing their rights and losing their kids. Darin, at Featherstone Family Law, took that anxiety away with our first call. He explained my situation clearly and helped me see the rights I have. He represented me well in mediation, and he helped me swing a suit for sole custody against me into a 45/55 split without needing to go to court. I talked with 5 lawyers in total as I began the process of selecting a lawyer. Mr. Featherstone was a clear choice from the initial consultation (which was free). What won me over was Mr. Featherstone's demeanor, his prices, and the attitude he had towards helping me. I had some pretty extensive modifications that I needed to make. And he walked me through all of them, answered all of my questions and made sure I had everything I needed to attend court hearings during the pandemic. He was very respectful of what I wanted as well as thorough in his knowledge of the laws that we working with.
