Jake was always prompted to return my calls and messages. He handled my divorce in a quick manner and was very professional about it.

I had no idea what to do throughout my divorce and needed a lot of guidance. Had an initial phone call with Jake and he had answers to all my questions immediately. He is very quick at getting back to you about questions/concerns and resolving situations. I had one situation that required his attention almost all week and even after hours and he was on top of everything the whole time. I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the legal help I've received from Cordell & Cordell. My attorney, Jake Cowdin, has done an absolutely phenomenal job, as has his paralegal, Tiffany. Mindy, the office administrator has always been willing to help and available when I've reached out to the office. After my very first consultation meeting with the office's supervising attorney, Doug, I had a feeling that I was going to be in good and quite capable hands. I did not expect, however, that Jake would so vastly exceed what were high expectations after that first meeting. It has become very clear that Jake's primary concern was doing what he and I thought would be best for myself and my son. I've always assumed that attorneys would do what they could to bill for as many hours as possible while helping their clients. This may or may not be the case with other lawyers, but it certainly is not true when it comes to Jake. He has been extremely professional. It's obvious that he took the time to fully consider what he ended up advising and weighed what the risks and benefits of any proposed course of action might be. I always felt like I had a voice in what each decision was and that Jake had my thoughts and concerns in mind during our interactions. He also very steadily helped to reign me in and provided me with a moment of pause a few times when I became overt emotional, which can easily happen in matters concerning your child. There is no doubt whatsoever that Jake, as well as Cordell & Cordell, will be the first and only I will ever make should a situation with my son and his mother requiring legal assistance ever come up again. I honestly feel that representation by anyone else would not be to the level Jake has provided. I would strongly encourage and recommend both Jake and Cordell & Cordell to anyone going through divorce or custody issues and looking for legal assistance.
