As a one time client of Mr. Shapiro I found him to be an extremely forthright, intelligent, sharp-minded attorney who’s not only well versed in Federal and State law but represents his clients with the highest degree of professionalism. Mark my words, you can be assured that David is capable of wielding the full power of the law within the legal justice system to ensure his client’s rights are well protected. In my personal experience, he’s one of the top lawyers in Utah and most likely the country when he’s practicing on the Federal level. When I wanted a steady set of hands, a good heart, and a sharp mind to stand beside me in my time of need – I would have been hard pressed to have a better man fighting for my rights than Attorney David Shapiro.

We hired Mr. Shapiro for my mother and she couldn't do any better. We are extremely happy with the results Mr. Shapiro is always available phone/text/email, he has very much patience we are 5 sisters on a case of my mother and he would always have time for each one of us and never frustrated always calm and with a great answer he speaks great Spanish also and that helped a lot too because my mother only speaks Spanish, I would not want to have to deal with anything criminal again but if I was to I wouldn't think about it twice to hire Mr. Shapiro. I would highly recommend Mr. Shapiro, he was very prepared and thorough. He really took a lot of the grief off my shoulders. For going through something so stressful he really made it painless and convenient. As soon as he took on my case, he was very diligent about getting back to me with any updated information and just checking in with making sure we were on the same page. He took care of every single interaction between the courthouse and I, which takes a lot of stress out of the whole ordeal.

I met. David 10 years ago when he was me public defender. He was great to work with then, so I called to hire him to help me get my record reduced from a felony. He was very professional kept me updated often and worked hard on my case. Would recommend him to anyone.

As an out of state client who could not be in Utah regularly, I was extremely concerned and unfamiliar with the efficiency of the process. David served as an unbelievable shepherd through a very difficult time. He was readily available through the court process and guided me all the way through a full expungement. David was an amazing attorney numerous times he represented me and got Flawless results I was acquitted of any charges I was innocent of along with reduction of many charges he got me my life back by putting in a 402 reduction II go back to living a normal life without a felony awesome attorney would recommend him a hundred thousand times over.

Mr. Shapiro has represented me in the past as court appointed lawyer and also recently as a hired representative. This man is a true professional in every since of the word highly knowledgeable, experience and communication skills are top shelf. Every time I have met or talked with him over the phone, being that I'm not from Utah I live in California, he has always been very clear with direction and easy to deal with there was never at anytime that Mr. Shapiro gave me any misguided, misleading advice or any reason to doubt his skill level. All my results were outstanding as my council and met all of my expectations and then some. Overall wonderful and smooth experience something that is very difficult to seek in those situations. The State of Utah had maliciously placed me on a child abuse registry based on the "kids" word alone. I had no opportunity to dispute the false charges of a very disturbed acting out juvenile delinquent. Nevertheless the power of the false allegations landed me on a secret data base at the State Human Services. As a professional psychotherapist I lost my job and could no longer work in the field with mental health patients. Mr. Shapiro's presentation to the Judge which involved arguing that I had no due process was a violation of my 14th amendment rights. The Judge was mortified by what the state had done and followed Mr. Shapiro's advice that the State must immediately expunge the record and the Judge continued to chastise the State's attorney for counselling the state to over step the bounds of due process. The attorney general defending the state was visibly distraught and even tearful because of the judges severe admonishment to the State's attorney and the state Human Services practices which lack due process. David Shapiro literally saved my job and career....highly recommend this attorney for even the most complicated case.
