I waited a month before posting this review, in order to give Primus Law an opportunity to apologize for the way one of their employees treated me. I know that myself, having integrity, if I treated someone poorly, and if it turned out that I was in the wrong, I would be mortified, and I would reach out to express my regrets. I therefor wanted to extend this opportunity to them to demonstrate a similar level of integrity. Unfortunately integrity doesn't seem to matter to this firm, so, after what I feel is an fair amount of time to wait for any type of apology, I am posting my experience publicly. I fully realize that any perspective customers of Primus Law are going to take a review with a grain of salt, given the business they are in. There are going to be a lot of disgruntled defendants and it is only natural that they will have a low rating because of this. But if you are considering hiring them, take into account the way they treated me, and ask yourself if you want your customers being treated in a similar manner, and how this will affect your relationship with those clients. You want a bill collector who can get money you are owed, but who will also act with integrity, and thus hold on to the relationships that have taken you so long to build, as you have built your business. Due to a clerical error on the part of a company I do business with, my account was submitted for collections. When I called the company, they apologized and contacted the collection agency informing them it was a mistake. The collection agency did not act, and instead sent my account to Primus Law. From the first phone call, Primus Law was aggressive, and frankly immature. They spoke like teenage boys trying to win an argument. I truly felt second hand embarrassment for how unprofessional they were. It was like talking to Micheal Scott on the phone. I attempted to explain to them that the account was not in default, but they yelled over the top of me and mocked me. I called the original company who my account is with, and they apologized over and over for how unprofessional Primus Law was treating me. They reached out to Primus Law and told them not to file with the courts, but Primus Law filed anyway, telling me that it didn't matter if their client didn't want them to pursue action that they could do so if they wanted to. This resulted in me having to file a response with the court, wasting all our time. In the end, Primus Law was humiliated when they had to withdraw their petition against me. Had the company I do business with not apologized and had they not been so good to go against their own legal counsel on my behalf, I would no longer be doing business with them, due to how this law firm behaves. Do you really want to do business with a law firm who behaves so unprofessionally? You don't hear how they speak to your customers. Know that they do not treat us well. They are like a bunch of boys in a locker room, shouting and mocking the customers who do business with you. There are much better and more professional agencies who get your money, but who also maintain the relationship with your customers. While it is true that Primus Law was humiliated in my case, and I didn't have to pay anything, and while it is true that I am still doing business with the original business, how many bridges has this firm burned on behalf of the clients they represent? Remember, they knew they were in the wrong in my case, and I gave them a month to fix their error, but they did not show the kind of integrity that should be so important to all of us working in any economy together.
