Kevin Richards was awesome ! My case was treated with great care and even though the outcome was going to be difficult to get to, Kevin took it on with vigor and enthusiasm and made me feel comfortable with the process. (My back story in a nut shell) I am a father of two from different mothers. My youngest asked to come live with me as she was not happy with her mother. My children were in danger of being taken from the state by my ex-wife and her new husband who has a charge of child abuse. I paid Mr. Richards a retainer of $1500 and he assured me that he would file a Temporary Protective Order and help me keep my children in the state. Then there was only silence. I could not get him to respond to my calls. I turned in the information I needed and was told by his assistant that he would read it and call me to come in and sign. Nothing happened. His assistant told me not to give my children to my ex-wife because he was filing the order. I was given a ticket for custodial interference. Finally Mr. Richards called me and told me that he didn't have enough information for a restraining order. My children are gone. I have had to retain another attorney. Mr. Richards did exactly nothing. If anything he made my situation much worse. I could never recommend this attorney.
