Worst law firm ever!!! They are a bunch of over payed scammers with a bar license and they should all lose their licenses! They scammed us out of $15,000 plus dollars for a little over a year with a custody battle. We first hired Ron Nichols for an estate issue which he didn’t do anything for but take out money and referred us to retain another attorney in his firm. Then like idiots hired him to take over a highly contested custody battle which after we retained him and he sucked up all the retainer fees in filing some REALLY bad paperwork, he referred us to retain Dylan Benson who dragged it out for over a year sucking money out of us and didn’t even finish the job but made sure to get us to the point of broke knowing the whole time the initial paperwork would NEVER hold up in court! Leading to an even larger financial burden by having incomplete vague paperwork to the court leading to a VERY large judgement in me having to pay the other parties attorney fees! Don’t trust these crooks with your money!

Way over priced for the poor service provided. These guys will take you for all they can and get nothing done. I would NEVER recommend them to anybody. Be smart and don’t get burnt like me!!!

The team at Macfarlane Law will definitely go to bat for you and defend your rights in cases that mean the world to you. You will as I was be represented very well. They never lost for me and guided me well and made me see how the legal system worked. I thank them for my education and representation. It was not always easy, but it was worth it!

We contacted Kelly after 3 years trying to work with insurance company from a an accident my wife was hit almost broadsided. She had a fracture collar bone and required several surgeries. We didn't want to use a lawyer but after a really long time of slow communication and endless waiting, we called Kelly. He immediately sprung in action. He was very experienced with these types of cases and knew exactly how to work with both the other person's and our insurance companies. He kept us informed all along the way. He was personable and knew the right questions to ask to prepare the paperwork and negotiate with insurance company. Most of all, he was very personable He was able to get a great settlement and ecstatic with the outcome. Take our word, never try to deal with the insurance by yourself, it doesn't work. Hi my name is Darius.. I got to have Ben Larsen as my attorney for my custody courting.. through this process ben was very responsive and helped me get a fair resolution! Thanks to ben I was able to establish a joint custody with my 11 month daughter and that’s almost unheard of. **new update added to my review as of July, 2023. Please read through and through! ** I would first of all like to thank Mr. Larsen for all he has done for my kids and I! I had him back in 2016 in family court and then again in 2021. I come from a divorce caused by domestic violence. In 2016 I was served a motion to show cause, in which the respondent (ex) was requesting to restart reunification/supervised visits. Mr. Larsen helped ensure the supervised visits were followed in accordance with court orders. When they were not he brought the information to the courts attention along with the respondents lack of providing a clean drug test. Visits were suspended due to the respondents lack of following court orders. And I came out with a court order for more child support then I had originally been getting (when he wasn’t running from responsibility.) We were able to get an additional $90 towards child support arrears ordered for the amount the respondent would typically spend at the liquor store each month.. as evidenced by the financial records provided to the court. Mr. Larsen fought for my kids and what they deserved. Fast forward to 2021. I was once again served a motion to show cause to restart reunification/supervised visits. I chose to represent myself in the beginning. That was fine until I was made aware that my kids were once again subjected to abuse during supervised visits. I hired Mr. Larsen to represent us again. Through his representation and counsel in court visits were suspended following a dirty drug test, only to be reinstated through a clean drug test and to be therapeutic as opposed to supervised. We are so grateful for his representation over the years and his continued diligence in keeping our kids safe and away from abusive environments. He truly has the children’s best interests in mind and is able to speak with the court in a way in which they are able to see through evidence what is happening. **An update to my review, currently July 2023** We hired Ben again in March 2023. This would be our 3rd time working with him. All regarding custody and our kids and most recently adoption. We had been representing ourselves to begin the most recent legal proceedings but soon after felt we needed Ben on the case again. This time we believed we had an error in judgement and Ben knew exactly what we needed to say to get our case back on track. Dylan assisted a lot in our case and together they brought forth a 15 page document to fight the errored judgement. Something I’ve always appreciated about Ben is how he knows our family and dynamics. He jumped right in from where we left off and we succeeded in our case once again. We would never go to another lawyer should we ever need one again. He and Dylan knew relevant case law necessary in this action we have had to fight. Our family is thriving and happy and where we need to be and we owe that to Ben. I also wanted to give a big thank you to Lynn. I spoke with her so much over phone and email throughout this case and she offered me support and passed necessary info along to Ben as we needed her to. We really appreciated this whole team working with us! Thank you Mr. Larsen!!!! And thank you to Dylan, and Lynn for all your diligence in our case!
