He got us to the finish line and helped us to realize it is ok to set a boundary. Excellent attorney.

he is a nice guy but not the bulldog fighter needed to fight for your case. he started out well but then couldn't close the case and almost seemed like he didn't know where to go nor how to fight in the end.
keep looking for a bulldog to fight for you
I wouldn't recommend him to any one

From the consultation to the close finish, Mr. Backman was friendly, confident, patient and reassuring. I feel he lacked the tenacity to cross the finish line. He is a very nice person. Sometimes nice doesnt get the job done.

At the consultation gives you lots of hope, after he drained your pocket , he starts to sing you sad songs ,
As matter in fact he doesn’t know his job well and the points that he should argue ,forgets and tells stories about what happened 70 years ago in such and such court. In my case everything was obviously clear and open , but never did mention the main articles that we were fighting for.

Excellent lawyer and a wonderful listener. Keith represented me when I got my divorce and when I asked for my ex husbands parental rights to be relinquished. I have and will continue to recommend Mr. Keith Backman. Great man!

During my initial consultation with Mr. Backman, I appreciated that the outline of legal proceedings was efficiently presented, and that expectations were promptly addressed. At least in my situation, Mr. Backman made sure that I was prepared for the challenging days ahead legally, and that I understood the likely outcome. As the saying goes, "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst". Mr. Backman's experience was clearly evident from the counsel he provided me throughout proceedings. Questions were quickly answered and legal details succinctly provided. I also appreciated that in my case, Mr. Backman understood that getting me out of the marriage as quickly as possible was as important as the financial cost of the divorce. He understands from experience that the emotional burden of divorce can be considerable. In retrospect, settling in mediation probably saved me a considerable amount of lawyer fees, and definitely the emotional hardship of a long term and unnecessary battle.

This attorney represented me in my divorce. He basically just gave my ex everything she wanted. He was very overpriced, gave advice after I needed it, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Keith Backman helped me with so many different facets of the law. He is knowledgeable in so many areas and was able to answer the questions that I had about everything. In my case, there were some extenuating circumstances with an ex-husband and Keith was there to help. His experience in not only my divorce but also in juvenile law was amazing. I think what I liked most was his attitude towards getting the best outcome for me and my family without compromise while being honest. He kept me up to date on everything that was going on and whenever I had a question all I had to do was call. I am very grateful that he was my attorney through one of the most difficult times in my life. I highly recommend Keith and his staff.

Keith and his assistants worked on a significant and difficult collections issue for our company. His efforts resulted in a judgement for our business but as it turned out the very troubled defendant in this case committed suicide, leaving his family and estate to deal with these problems. There seemed to be no rational expectation that the estate would or could meet all of the obligations that were being pursued. It was a difficult and emotionally charged situation for all involved and Keith dealt with the case in a calm, rational and effective manner to it's conclusion. It did not turn out well but probably as good as it could in view of the circumstances.
