I was in a pretty bad car accident that had me five months on short-term disability, months of physical therapy and spinal surgery. The accident was clearly not my fault and the other driver was cited for reckless driving. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with The Advocates. Through all of this nightmare, the team at The Advocates were there to support me. They are a marvelous team that in my experience are on your side; providing support and kindness. Cameron took the initial intake and was absolutely delightful. He made me laugh when I was hurting so bad from my injuries I was near tears. Cameron also checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing. When it came time to receive my settlement he delivered my check personally to my house. Truly the man is a treasure of kindness and positive energy. Caroline was such a doll navigating and hounding my insurance to pay me what I was entitled to under my policy while I was unable to drive or care for myself. Caroline also assisted with the paper work to give to my short-term disability company. In addition, she was so sweet and kind, always having a kind word and bits of encouragement. Abby was so kind as she gathered all of the medical bills and worked with health care billing to keep the wolves at bay. She was always professional and personable as I asked for updates. Mr. Driggs contacted me several times to give me updates on my case and how they wanted to proceed with my case. I am positive that the settlement would not have been enough to cover my medical bills, had I not hired this firm to act as my advocate. Though my insurance has a good reputation, I found they were horribly obstructive when it came time to obtain my benefits. It took months to pay off my car, it took hounding from Caroline to get my household assistance money. If it weren't for Caroline's efforts, I am sure I wouldn't have received a dime from my insurance company for help with household duties. The team at The Advocates, really went to bat for me and worked hard to get me the maximum amount of money for me from my obstructive insurance company. In addition, their professionalism, knowledge, empathy and kindness were so appreciated during one of the most painful and stressful times in my life.
