We retained Mr. Warren when we were facing an issue as a school board. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very respectful of the fact that we had a tight budget as we beholden to the school budget. The issues were resolved and as members of the school board, we were able to rest easy. We found him to be very sharp and able to understand the situation quickly. I have had other dealings with attorneys in my own personal business in the past, and found them to be good, but always a little distracted and in a hurry. Mr. Warren took the necessary time to reassure us that we were being heard, and at the same time was able to come into understanding the situation quickly and offer very meaningful and appropriate solutions that we had not even considered. His legal knowledge and understanding were key to our being able to solve the situation. I would use him again. He was great. Also, I have to say something about Mr. Warren's discretion. As there was no wrongdoing on the part of the charter school board, because of the political nature of charter schools and their public reception in general, there can often arise PR problems that affect charter schools--because they are funded by enrollment. Public opinion turns on small hinges, and charter schools often are caught in the public melee. In this particular case, Mr. Warren showed an amazing amount of discretion and was respectful to us as board members. I am leaving this review anonymously only because I don't want to bring down any undue scrutiny on our school or the situation, but I did want to give kudos to Mr. Warren for a job well done.
