Since moving to Provo three and a half years ago, I’ve had the need for a lawyer on three separate occasions. I called Dexter and Dexter on a whim—time was of the essence and I needed legal counsel quickly and, being new to the community, wasn’t sure where else to go. Fortunately I chose correctly. In each case the extremely helpful office staff squeezed me into the schedule within a day or two of my request for an appointment. Surprisingly, during those consults, I didn’t feel I rushed. Mr. Dexter took his time, giving me his full attention in each situation despite busy schedules and other commitments. I felt that I and my situation mattered: Mr. Dexter didn’t watch the clock and he offered sound, legal advice every time. And in the end, unlike experiences with lawyers in the past, I wasn’t nickeled and dimed. With Dexter and Dexter, I’m treated with respect, my needs are met, and I’m billed fairly. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone in need of legal counsel.

I met Chris Dexter at a free legal clinic at the Small Business Development Center. Some confusion had arisen regarding the termination terms of a contract, and the other party was not responding to any of my attempts to communicate about the situation. Since it was an exclusive contract, I was unable to move forward with a new contractor until the old contract was officially terminated. Chris helped me understand my options and generously offered to help me pursue the most straightforward path to a resolution at no charge. When the other party still refused to cooperate in finding a solution to the problem, and the case needed to be taken to the next level, Chris was sensitive to my financial limitations as a new micro-business and charged me a very reasonable fee for his services. Even so, I was never treated like a charity case. Everyone at Dexter & Dexter was kind, professional, and efficient, and they put in the time and effort needed to bring the other party to the table and negotiate a resolution that I hope was satisfactory to all concerned. I especially appreciated the prompt responses to my phone calls and emails, as well as the patience shown in answering my questions and explaining all the legal twists and turns to me. Chris Dexter is good at what he does, and part of what he does is care about the actual people he works with, not just his bottom line. If I need additional legal help as my baby business grows, Dexter & Dexter will be my go-to guys, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I had tried another attorney before I called Chris. To say the least, it was frustrating. That attorney did nothing. Within a week, Chris had the contractor who needed to finish my cabinets working on them. Chris is one who can get people moving. I am 100% impressed. I will hire him again whenever I need him. Dexter & Dexter is the firm that has your back. When a legal problem arose in my life I needed an attorney urgently and called several law firms to see if they could help. I quickly realized that Dexter & Dexter had my best interests in mind would protect my rights so I hired them. Dexter & Dexter clearly explained the legal jargon to me so that I would understand. I was very worried and scared but, despite my anxiety, I was reassured along the way that they had everything under control. In fact, whenever I called or emailed my attorney, he would respond the same day. Dexter & Dexter lived up to their word and more. During the entire process, I knew that they were sincere and I knew that I was well taken care of, that the outcome they achieved on my behalf would be successful and that they really cared about me personally. In the end, we won and, in every proceeding, my rights were professionally advanced and advocated. As my family and I need legal counsel, I will only consult with them. If I could give Dexter and Dexter and Brixton Hakes a ten star rating I would in a heartbeat! I’m sure that all the attorneys here are great because they’re office is extremely organized and professional, but I would suggest asking for Brixton Hakes. He’s promp, thrives on winning, enjoys the challenge from a personal perspective, is extremely strategic, clearly cares about his clients, doesnt overbook his docket, and most importantly gets the job done under any circumstances. Dexter and Dexter were by far not the cheapest firm Iooked into. However if you’re livelihood and you’re freedom are importantw to you try to keep in mind that on this planet you’ll get EXACTLY what you pay for.

Brixton was the best attorney I could have found, I'm very hard to please. I am very impressed with Brixton he handled the situation in a very informed and professional way. I highly recommend him. I now have a new attorney for life.
