I had the best experience with Nonie Ferguson. She is very intelligent and professional. She and her team worked extremely hard for me. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to have her as my attorney. I highly recommend her!

If you are currently reading Family Law reviews, I want to first offer my condolences for whatever you are going through. I have been there, it was absolutely atrocious. The good news is that your search for an attorney is now over. Nonie was my divorce attorney a few years ago. Nonie is the best. The "best' is one of those words that is thrown around frivolously nowadays, and I will admit to being guilty of it often. This time it is true. Here are the reason's why. I was a wreck when I spoke to Nonie the first time. Nonie was very understanding, listened to everything I had to say, and was very honest and direct with me. That honesty and directness was the reason why I hired her. She didn't promise me the world, she never said that I was going definitely going to get this or that. She laid down the facts and said this is what we are doing. There was a lot of confidence bestowed to me because of this. I bet you could use a little more confidence right now as well. See, Nonie's (and her staff Melissa and Conor) greatest asset is that they get it. They understand that you are talking to them because something horrible is happening and you need help. They are also human and are ready to help you. I spoke to other attorneys and this wasn't the case. I have asked Nonie, Melissa, and Conor many questions, some sort of embarrassing, and I tried to argue my point with them (they won of course). They always treated me with respect, took the time to answer everything I asked, and even was honest enough with me to tell me when I was being "silly". They treated me like a friend, not a client. Now none of this may be of value to you. You may only be interested in the performance in the courtroom. Nonie's performance in the courtroom literally left me speechless, and obviously by now reading this lengthy review, you can assume that is extremely rare. In the past, I compared her to a superhero and a sports superstar. That isn't really fair to her. She is more human than both of those, which still is what I valued the most. Everyone at Just Law I dealt with always treated me well, were extremely professional, and exceeded expectations. I hope I never need their services again, but know I will have friends fighting for me if I do. UPDATE 11/29/2024 I wrote that review three years ago. Nonie is still my attorney, Nonie will always be my attorney in matters such as these (hopefully!!), and I can't even imagine doing anything that involves family law without Nonie. I had the opportunity to hire Nonie again this year. Everything I posted three years ago is still true, even more so now. I don't even use the word "attorney" when I am speaking to my friends about what goes on in my "legal life". I call her Nonie, they know who she is. I rarely write reviews, and I don't think I ever have posted an update to a review, but the astonishment I have in Nonie's professionalism, abilities, and the high level of service I have experienced from Nonie and her staff has always overwhelmed me, and I have been in customer service for 30 years. I don't get overwhelmed by service. Our first meeting was in 2017, six years ago, and one day I may take this all for granted. I really hope not. If you are in need of a family law attorney, Nonie is the best choice there is.

I hired Nonie for my divorce case after my first attorney informed me she was no longer practicing family law and that I would have to find a new attorney to complete my case. After over 2 years of nothing happening on my case, Nonie and Sharnae had it wrapped up within 2 months. My ex's parents had hired one of the most expensive law firms in Utah, and the case was on the verge of going to trial. Nonie was able to assist in getting the case negotiated without going to trial which saved me tens of thousands, and a ton of additional time and stress involved. Sharnae and Nonie both were of utmost professionalism throughout the entire process, and hit the ground running from the second I hired them for my case. I wholeheartedly recommend Nonie, Sharnae, and Just Law for anyone going through a tough divorce situation. My only regret is that I didn't hire them sooner, as I believe it would have alleviated a lot of time, money, and stress on my part in dealing with an attorney who's actions compounded on top of an already difficult situation.

Nonie came in and helped me in pretty complex, my boyfriends bitter ex girlfriend type of situation. That myself, and my children were unfortunately dragged into. CPS was involved, she got paperwork in right away " she was on time to court, she answered all of my questions day-night, even on the weekend! Nonie is very straightforward, Cutthroat, she does not play games, she will tell you that right away. So if you are hiring her oh, you are hiring her to step into a ring and fight basically. My situation was very Petty and quick, I have been represented by Laura at the same firm many years ago, for a custody case. I would go to this firm for the littlest things, to the most serious of thing's. They treat you like family, they treat you like a human being, they treat you like people..who have children, jobs, lives, bills. This firm knows what to do, you're not just a walking ATM, you are not disposable to them. They are not like other firms who just want your money, Nonie is like the mom and pop shop you take your vehicle to because you know it's going to get done, and you know it's going to be done right. Nonie is your Advocate, your voice!

Nonie helped me with a contempt case (she was not the lawyer I had with the custody case but I wish I knew about her then). She was very knowledgeable and made it clear what would and would not be helpful. She is very upfront yet personable and her office was great to work with as well. They were very easy to get a hold of and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I used her office recently for a expungement and they made it a breeze. I read so many awful stories about expungements that I decided not to go through the process myself and I am so glad I didn’t. Once I received my certificate of eligibility, the rest of the process was over in 3 months (including a notice stating it was removed). I will be going back for future issues that arise and would recommend to anyone in need.

I can't say enough about Just Law's Norine (Nonie) Ferguson and her staff. Starting on day one I felt like I was in competent, caring hands. Everything was explained to me, and if I didn't understand something or had questions, I could send an e-mail or call and usually receive an answer within just a few hours. I felt Nonie did an excellent job at my mediation and she definitely had my back. I was very happy with the way things turned out. The support staff at Just Law are also very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, and helped me numerous times. Noni & Sharnae are amazing and made the process painless. The entire staff was easy to deal with and they communicate in a timely and efficient manner. Noni really took the time to listen to the case and understand the details of the situation. Not only did she take the time to listen to the case, but she also remembered the case and specific details that were important during the hearings. She is very confident in the court room, prepared and communicates well in court. She is very knowledgeable and does her research. We won twice! I would recommend her to everyone.
