I had a Zoom consulation with Ben Brown regarding how to move forward handling a divorce that was filed against me. Specifically, the legal steps in the process which I did not understand and frankly, didn't even want to know about. Mr. Brown was so kind and compassionate, listening to hear exactly what I needed and offering the information that would help me resolve the divorce with minimal confrontation. He was thoughtful and offered several suggestions that gave me a starting place to move forward. We started as complete strangers over a Zoom call, but within our time together, I felt that he truly cared about my situation. He was the first step in my ability to process and take control of a situation not of my choosing. It is rare to find someone so highly qualified who wasn't interested in pushing their opinions or agenda. I felt he honestly wanted to help me find the best solution through an extremely difficult time in my life.

Benjamin Brown was highly professional yet kind as he helped me navigate through the most difficult experience of my life. I would highly recommend him, and use him again in the future if I needed his services.

1. I asked for joint physical custody from the beginning. He filed my response giving my ex sole physical custody. Caused a lot of drama during the process. 2. He pressured me into signing an agreement that I couldn't live with when I took time to do that calculations on my own. I relied on him making good calculations. When we equalized income for alimony we used my married tax status for that. My taxes went up $900 a month after. And now I'm going to have to pay like $6000 in the past. Ben's response: "Well I'm not a CPA." How has this never come up? This doesn't require a CPA to figure out.

Ben mediated my divorce, and did a great job. He helped both parties feel comfortable through a difficult process. He was also very clear about the rules of mediating.
