Was in a horrible high-speed accident. My 3-year-old grandson and me. Our GMC Envoy XL flipped over in the air landing on all 4 wheels. What an impact! Gratefully, we lived through it. I was struggling for a Lawyer to work with our case because we weren’t severely injured, and no one would take our case. Not Siegfried and Jensen, or any other firm and I called them all. You have to have injuries, I was told. Just before all was said and done and having received $4000 from the at-fault driver’s insurance co. the case was going to be over when I got a call from the courts and a young woman asked if I felt I had been rightly compensated. I replied, Not at all… And I can’t find a Law firm who will take our case because we weren’t severely injured and didn’t go to the hospital that night. And $4000 won’t replace our vehicle I’d taken excellent care for years and was paid off. The woman told me to call Zeb Weeks that he would help us. I felt it was another dead end. I called Zeb and he asked if I had gone to the hospital at all and I told him I did the next day because I felt light-headed and a little dizzy and it didn’t go away overnight so I went to the ER in the morning and they ordered a CT Scan. Zeb asked me to call the hospital and if that visit costs more than $3000 to let him know and I called the hospital and that visit was over $12,000. I told Zeb and he took on our case and a little over 1 year later we got a Settlement. Thank you, Zeb! Thank you, girl from the courts! Our Settlement was much more the $12,000.
