We hired Mr. Easton based on the reputation of the law firm. He did an excellent job working with us on a delicate case. He is professional and communicated with us about all aspects of the case. He is well respected by the judge and prosecutor in the case. Everything resolved as expected and we are grateful for his services.

John Easton was so great. He did a great job managing my stress level with my case and keeping me well informed, and he got all my charges dropped without going to trial!

John Easton has represented me on many criminal cases over many years. Some cases were very complicated, and other cases were less complicated. One involved a full trial, in which John’s trial skills resulted in a very successful outcome. Another involved a complicated multi-party joint restitution where John was able to work out a very reasonable settlement for me. In every situation, John was able to work things out much better than I had hoped. He has the perfect personality for a criminal defense attorney, and he has a good relationship with everyone in the system. I have always had complete confidence that I was approaching each situation with the best preparation and representation. John has always kept me fully informed about the potential consequences and the legal strategies so that I could make informed decisions. I have full confidence in his character and his abilities. I recommend him fully without any hesitation.

I had never been in trouble with the law before and so glad I found John Easton to help me through it. He literally walked me through every step of the way and has helped me with law questions since. Even though I was guilty he helped me get my sentence reduced significantly. As he started as prosecutor and then went to defense attorney, it's like he knew every knick and cranny and trick in the book to get around the prosecutor. My impression was he was well respected in the court room as he has had 15 years of experience here in Utah. I have since used him again for personal injury and the results have been amazing! I hope I don't get into trouble again but if I do I will go right back to John Easton. You will not be disappointed. He is great with payment plans as well!

I have never been in a situation like this before, never been in trouble or in a place i had to answer for my stupid actions, then feeling very lost and depressed. John made me feel so very confident with so much advise and things i could do to better my criminal case. You could not find or ask for better lawyer and person and he has so much to offer. You can hire him with total confidence, knowing he will do everything in his power to have the very best outcome possible. Highly reccomended!!!!!

I’ve never been in any trouble with the law in my life. I had no idea what to do or who to talk to about my DUI. I was referred to John Easton by a relative of mine. I called, left a message, and he called me back promptly to discuss my situation and set up a consultation. After speaking with him for only an hour and weighing out all my options, I left his office feeling like there was hope for my case. He explained the next steps of exactly what was going to happen, how we would handle it, and how he would set up a strong defense for me. I did have a couple positive things going for my specific case. When we went in for my driver’s license hearing, they denied returning it to me. John didn’t give up. He appealed their decision, and yet they still denied it. So, at this point, I was feeling like I may not win or get my license back for some time. Despite my discouragement, John stayed very optimistic about my case and still wasn’t ready to give up. He explained I still had reason for hope in my upcoming hearing. The day came and we were able to postpone the hearing temporarily. In the meantime, John continued working hard to defend me. Because of his knowledge and experience with other cases and the law, he was able to negotiate with the prosecutor to have my charges DISMISSED!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! I was going to get my license back!! I can’t begin to describe how great it felt to feel like justice was served! I couldn’t be more grateful to him for all of his hard work on my behalf. Not only did I learn an expensive and hard lesson, he made every penny well worth it because of the consequences I would’ve faced. I hope he knows how far his hard work goes to help people’s lives in such difficult and humbling circumstances.

John Easton is the best attorney I know. He believed in me when I did not believe in myself. He was very compassionate and knows the law inside and out. I hope I never need him again, but if I do I will not look anywhere else, He did all he could for me when all evidence was stacked against me. I hired John Easton for my 2nd DUI offense and was very pleased with his work. I have a background of drug and alcohol related charges, therefore im not new to the court expierence. though John went the extra mile. Even though it was clear that i was guilty he still had me come in and we went over all the videos, dash cam, body cam, store cam frame by frame. Mind you no other attorney ive hired in the past has went over footage with me, it was always "i went over the footage and this is what we got" So i very much respect him for that profesionalism. He gave me helpful advice for the future should anything like this happen again, things that could have been avoided, etc. etc. His secretary would always remind me the day before each court hearing. i could go on. On one hearing where we was asking for a date to be pushed out, he spoke with the prosecutor, and had me sign a promise to appear and we was gone before the Judge even came out. he aslo knocked off $500 because a previous client of his reffered me. I would recommend John to anyone, hes professional and very down to earth and easy to talk to. Thanks John

If I could give him 100 stars I would!! My case took almost a year, he never charged me more based on time. He is affordable and knows so much. He went above and beyond! Settled without going to trial. Always took time to answer my questions and was incredibly understanding and non judgemental. I will refer anyone and everyone I know!
