My experience with Barney, McKenna and Olmstead was for a late friends trust that one of my family members was named a trustee. The original lawyer from a different firm made many mistakes and used lazy legal terminology that left too many questions unanswered. Jospeh Prete was the associate assigned to help clarify and correct those mistakes. He immediately identified several issues that would have lead to multiple delays throughout the probate process. As it is a time consuming process to begin with this would have meant more wasted time and more money that would have been tied up in legal fees. Joseph displayed true concern for the well being of my family member associated with the trust, explaining in detail the responsibilities and possible obligations that may be expected of them as the primary trustee, all the while maintaining a respect for the original trust documents. His prudence was something I truly admired. My family will be back to visit Joseph to have our trust documents produced with great confidence that our families future will be professionally secured and insulated from the calamity of the probate process.

My father in law passed away in Iowa two years ago without a trust. What a disaster and a lot of money spent in probate court.
