I made several attempts to get help from the VA, each time met with disappointment telling me I did not qualify. Before my Dad died he made me promise I would try again. So I applied again and my claim was denied. Part of me felt like "OK Dad I did what you asked" and felt like it just wasn't meant to be. As a last effort I decided to seek legal help. When Joel answered the phone I found him to be easy to talk to and he took time to explain the process and helped me with my appeal. Joel made it easy to complete the process, provided the correct VA forms and handled the heavy lifting. Far sooner than I imagined the VA looked at my case again I I received a settlement.
