Sinceramente varios que estamos en temas migratorios tenemos la incertidumbre de hacer bien las cosas, no queremos caer en errores, pues muchos estamos en este pais con nuestras familias (nuestros seres queridos, lo mas importante). Un error cometido y pudo ser uno grave que se pudo evitar de tener a un profesional en el tema. En mi caso fui yo quien someti mis papeles, pero aun me quedaban muchas dudas generadas por mi imaginacion dado el desconocimiento del tema. Busque durante varios dias abogados que me pudieran apoyar dando asesoria legal, sinceramente algunos cobrando precios exhorbitantes por hora y algunos con un trato nada calido, ni siquiera te preguntan cuales son tus necesidades particulares. Tuve la suerte de encontrar en un directorio de la Universidad de Cornell la informacion de contacto del buffet de Isabel. Me llamo la atencion que su perfil reflejaba un trato amable, confiable y calido, en pocas palabras HUMANO. La atencion que recibi de la asesora legal que me atendio fue tanto en ingles y en espanol, no hubo prisas, siempre atenta a mis necesidades y aunque es dificil describir lo que puede estar sucediendo en una llamada telefonica, la percibi como estar todo el tiempo dispuesta a escucharme. Despues que le platique mi situacion y le plantee mis dudas, me resolvio. Una lagrima casi se me sale de la emocion, en este caso porque no tenia nada de que preocuparme. Si hubiera estado alli la hubiera abrazado, gracias.
