I began the process of a QDRO one year ago. I knew it would take several months, but really, a year? We were ten months in before the QDRO was submitted to the company holding the retirement account. Within a couple of weeks, the submission was denied and sent back for a redo. I reached out immediately to make sure they would fix the problem and was told yes. Now, over a month later, and two emails asking for an update, no response. This has been very frustrating. They have every excuse in the book, and the latest is COVID-19. I would never recommend this firm for any reason. I hired a new attorney to help with an additional Qdro for back alimony and we are well on our way. My eyes are opened as to how things should work correctly. I have only been with this new firm for a couple of months. Update: I got a phone call that they were goung to call me today, so me calling and leaving a message for a return call was good, according to them. I’ve heard that before, so we’ll see what happens.

UPDATE: The day I posted this review, Angela reached out to me via email to sincerely apologize and to offer amends by upgrading my DIY divorce to DWA (worth $300) for free. After this, I rarely had to worry about my case any longer because they stepped up and took charge, and two weeks later, I am officially divorced! I am so grateful that they saw what needed to be fixed and they fixed it. Thank you so so much. Older Review: I started my divorce process three months ago, and it has been a battle ever since. I'm still waiting for my complete divorce package. I'm working with Jacqueline, and at the beginning, I was told it would take a few weeks. A few weeks comes and goes, and I hear nothing. I email her, and she replies that it will take another week. Of course, it comes and goes and still, I hear nothing. This pattern has been repeating for the past three months! I understand things are difficult with the pandemic and staffing, but please please PLEASE keep me informed and give me accurate time lines! It's okay if something might take a month, just let me know! I've asked multiple times to be informed, and of course, nothing. It's worse to promise something and not deliver, especially when I've had to reach out 99% of the time in order to hear anything. I'm very disappointed with this treatment as it has been very unprofessional and frustrating. Divorces are already a stressful thing, and it makes it worse when I'm being misinformed and ignored.

Angela is great to work with. She takes time to explain everything and find the best option for you. I have used Utah Legal Clinic on two separate occasions and both times I have been extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend them.

I didn't have a choice of wanting to go through the divorce process, but I'm so glad I was referred to the Utah Legal Clinic. Angela is very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease during several sticking points of my divorce process. Angela, and her team, are very helpful and friendly. Don't let their friendly demeanor make you believe they are soft when it comes down to business during mediation or the courtroom. They are very respected by their peers. You won't regret this team on your side, if you need someone to represent you for your legal needs.

I do not recommend them at all at first they help me but in the end they screwed me and I lost my retirement due to them. So stay away from them and if you do have to stay away from Lori Johnson she is a liar straight up

We thought at first they would help my friend !!! No . Angela did nothing wasn’t even prepared for mediation. Taken calls from a cabin on zoom .. Answer to reply; This is a friend of someone you helped... I’m leaving the comment because she asked me to after many weeks of trying to get a hold of Angela. So sorry I’m not your client dosent mean I can’t write a review!!! Did her dirty!!!! So they reached out to me and asked me to take this down I’m not going to because my girlfriend doesn’t wanna talk to them because they didn’t want to talk to her about things before and after. Do not go here don’t waste your money and if you do fair warning you’re probably not gonna get the best service
