Kayla came highly recommended to me and I am highly recommending her to anyone seeking a well knowledgeable lawyer. What I admired most about her was that I was never kept in the dark. She explained every step of my divorce process. From the beginning she told me what the outcome would be and I was never disappointed. At one point in the process I was ready to give up because of the negative stuff my now ex-husband was throwing at me, I was happy I told her my feelings. Kayla was not only my lawyer at that point but became my counselor. She was not all about the money but more about getting me what I rightfully deserve. My experience with Kayla seems to be right in line with what everyone else has already said, which is that of complete satisfaction! The nature of divorce makes it an incredibly difficult time, and for me, it was no different. What seemed to be tracking as something an attorney would not need to be involved in quickly changed in my situation. Kayla lowered the levels of stress during this experience to more than I thought possible. Sure, there was still plenty of stress but I felt immense support the entire time. I never worried about the best possible outcome, simply because I knew Kayla would do whatever it took to make that happen for me while remaining fair and considerate the entire time. Kayla was confident in how the resolution would play out, as well as the steps we needed to take to make it so. She and her team communicated very clearly and were prompt with replies and any incoming or outgoing information. Beyond the professionalism of the process, there was a sincere sense of empathy that came in all interactions. Kayla really cares! In wrapping up, I suppose the most meaningful thing I can say is that Kayla simply helped me, and even other members of my family, remain calm during the entire process. This feeling came from the knowledge Kayla was in complete control the entire time, and in the end, that feeling was right on. I truly cannot recommend her enough!

Kayla was excellent to work with. My divorce was a hectic time in my life and it felt like everything was a maelstrom of events, taking care of my kids, work, and emotions that, at the time, were all overbearing to deal with. Kayla gave me excellent consultation initially, and, after I got advice from my inner circles, I chose to move forward with hiring her to handle my divorce case. She made things very easy. I could tell she listened and really seemed to get a feel for what I wanted out of the divorce along with being sympathetic and understanding toward what drove the divorce in the first place. She gave me solid advice on what to expect, what was reasonable, and what to do. Most importantly for me, she and her team were able to answer the ever-so-frequent question of "What do I have to do next". With everything going on, that simplified the divorce process for me to the point that I never had more than one to-do item at a time for this process. Fortunately, my case never went to court, but interacting with the Mediator, she was friendly and warm. She kept me in the loop toward what they had discussed and had great advice in each of our counter offers. I feel that appointment went as close to reasonably best-case-scenario for my divorce and I believe it was her expertise, knowledge of various options, etc. that led us to the conclusion we came to. Hiring Kayla to handle my divorce was such a great decision. There was a trove of knowledge and experience with which I could answer any number of my, what felt like stupid questions. She was clear and consise on all points of advice, but also on billing and how I would be charged for her time (and how to maximize that). I truly felt that Kayla was fighting for me in this case. Not for a client or a paycheck, but the me she got to know and work with. Kayla was a dream to work with. She is quick at responding to emails, phone calls and answering any questions I had. She worked tirelessly for me and laid out all the facts in a logical and easy to understand way. She is easy to talk to and non-judgmental.
