These are just my opinions....Joe is a yeller. If you want someone to come in and make a scene, you should hire him. If you want a professional, one that will work with your Ex, one that will try to make things right for the kids, do not hire him. He is all show. He will talk a big game, but I have never seen anyone act like him in court....he bad mouthed the commissioner in the hallway with the other attorney before we even went in. Just not what I would consider a classy option, nor a option if you want to work together with your Ex.

He is piece of poop, he did not care about a little boy and his father, he did poop, but now that little boy lives with his father, because his father was sooo bad.

Joe Nemelka 5 stars for sure! I have used Joseph Lee Nemelka 4 times in the past 20 years and am very pleased with each and every outcome. You may find a cheaper attorney but you may also end up with less than favorable results. I would not even consider using anyone other than Joe Nemelka .He has saved me thousands of dollars in the long run. If you're looking for a fantastic Attorney, Joe is your man.

He never gave me information about my case. Every time I would contact him he was on vacation and would inform me that he will contact me once he gets back to his office. That never occurred, then I receive an email saying "Testing... testing..."!! No information about my case and expected me to pay $300 more because of that email. I missed the court date and haven't been able to track down my ex-wife since. If you like throwing your money away, this is where to do it.

I was the Primary Caregiver to my children prior to the separation. Joe advised me to not fight for immediate custody during the divorce and focus on custody after the divorce. Allowing her to keep the kids during the divorce was what lost me custody. It was the worst legal advice I have ever taken. If I could do it again I would represent myself before hiring joe.

Words cant describe how thankful my family and I are to have Joseph to be our attorney. Joseph has been my attorney for a awhile and has helped me get through tough situation with custody of my daughter. Joe is very understanding and will help guide you in the right direction. Joe is amazing, you wont go wrong! Im very blessed to have and amazing lawyer to stick by my side when situations get tough.

We got Joe as a court appointed lawyer in a DCFS case through court. Joe got us the verdict and all the fights we needed to get our family back again. Joe Nemelka has been my attorney for almost 3 years. I have been going through a custody battle since 2012. Joe is very professional and he gives a fast response to your concerns. He tells you the truth... not what you want to hear like some attorneys!! I love that he is to the point and tells you realistically what the courts will see, he never delivers broken promises. He was honest and knowledgeable. Joseph did not try telling me what I wanted to hear. He told me what was relevant/important could explain the reasons behind his guidance. When your bitter ex-spouse comes after you for more money under the guise of getting the children more often it is stressful enough. It was legitimately comforting having Joseph in my corner. I have already recommended him to one friend and one family member, and would absolutely do it again!
