Passing on hiring S&J as your attorney if u were in a car accident would be a big and costly mistake. We spoke with S&J attorneys at a free consultation. All the paperwork S&J had to collect and all the information they needed was done in such a timely manner 100% free no gimmicks no out of pocket charges, no BS and we were all well informed of all of our options and it was all done in such a timely manner. Zane told us this was going to be a difficult case, but Zane KNEW he would win it, even though we were dealing with the other party's insurance company's attorneys really not interested in settling this case because their client was lying andnmisleading his own insurance company in believing his lies the accident had never happened, when in reality, not only 100% this accident did happen, the hit and run sporty car fast irresponsible driver filed a claim with his insurance company to have his car repairs. I am a poor Latino driving an older rusty worthless van, as the guy that hit us and ran in his fancy sporty BMW noted, an OUTSTANDING CITIZEN he said, an accountant who not only lied about details of the accident but the same guy who filed a claim thru his same not wanting to settle out case insurance company, but they were in for a surprise named Zane Christiansen!! Zane caught the liar speedy racer guy in his web of lies and went to town on a settlement demand of $$$$ that was fair, just, and well merited, even including punitive damages to compensate us for the humiliation, pain, and suffering dealing with the outstanding citizen liar of the year!! Zane was so understanding, patient, kind, well aware of every detail of out accident and even took the time to discuss it in detail with my son who was 6 at the time of the accident in a way my kiddo felt safe, relaxed, and believed. We went into a settlement hearing nervous as it is expected, but Zane's confidence and Stephanie's preparedness made it all so easy for us to feel ready to handle and navigate the court system and go to this mediation meeting knowing it was going to be good for us, and it was GREAT!! The liar accountants attorney made an offer for $2,000 which wouldn't even cover my son's visit to the ER right after the hit and run, and Zane calmly listened to them, quietly and with the best 'poker face i have ever seen dropped a surprise on them by bringing up the pictures of damages on the liar's car, the same car he filed a claim to have repaired thru his insurance company, the same company that denied us payment for medical bills my sons and I and my husband incurred. Zane dropped a figure we could live with and was firm and direct on why how and why he wouldn't back down. And we won, WE WON BIG. Not only this firm is affordable since I didn't have to pay anything upfront, and everything came out of the settlement, they worked with me on which fees, and amounts they were going to have as their fees for the settlement and it was a very fair and just process and I'm glad to have worked with this firm. DON'T HIRE ANYONE ELSE!! S&J are the best in Utah. We had to pay so many bills out of pocket and had so many issues before we hired this firm. Don't make the same mistake thinking a 'cheaper' law firm would benefit you, that won't happen. I thankful for Zane and Stephanie. We settled an impossible case against a liar who got caught in his lies by S&F investigate and inquisitive experienced minds. The process of settling this case was much quicker than expected once in Zane's hands after we had lost so much time with the other firm. We were able to have our lives back and feel justice was served against the hit and run dishonest driver. We are thankful to you as a family.

I had a very bad bike accident with a brand new bike (first time ever ridden). The pedal came off while riding the bike and I ended up requiring 5 significant orthopedic surgeries. Initially I tried working with the bike company. They offered me a $500 gift certificate to their store, then they offered to pay me my out of pocket medical expenses. When I realized they lied to me about the fact that there were no issues with the pedals (even though they later recalled the bike), that I decided I wouldn’t work with them anymore, and hired Mark Taylor as my attorney. It has been over 2 years and I just reached a settlement. Although it has been a very difficult recovery physically, it was nice to know that I had an attorney to deal with the bike company and insurance company.
