I think “Benny” was probably a good attorney at one point - now he’s a very selfish, dishonest attorney that doesn’t even pretend to care if you get a good defense. Also, when I called other attorneys, several told me to steer clear of Benny. I hope he gets the help he needs or changes career fields.

Benny Salcido was not forthcoming with information pertinent to my case, made my family wait days before receiving critical information to my case, and seemed unprepared and unprofessional in my two court hearings. I had to reach out multiple times before I could get information I needed. While I waited in jail, he charged my parents exorbitant amounts of money while being functionally useless to me. Him and his office failed to email me necessary documents and caused a significant delay to my legal proceedings. I cannot in good conscious recommend the services of the Salcido law firm to anyone but my sworn enemies.

Originally called Brother Christopher and somehow ended up with Spencer, Benny, or whatever. Nice enough guy. Somewhat newly licensed at the time. The most basic of representation. Minor criminal offense but I just as well have not had an attorney and would have received the same sentence while saving the $2000 fee. He did his job, though. I guess.

Helped explain the process and negotiated a fair deal with the DA office. Wish I would have hired before meeting with Driver Licence Department!

Benny has great rapport with court clerks, bailiffs, prosecutors and judges. I always felt confident that he was the best attorney in the building. I fully trusted Benny to defend me in a case in which I was wrongfully charged; he did his job beautifully and in the end charges were dismissed. Thanks Benny!

The assistance and representation from Salcido Law Firm was outstanding, expedient, and professional. Benny is an excellent lawyer with both the depth and breadth of knowledge necessary to represent his clients to the fullest extent practicable. Benny was always able to provide answers to my many questions and reassured me when the circumstances were hanging in the balance. I owe my experience with him to his professional demeanor, knowledgeable approach, and dedication to follow-up.

I’ve been waiting for 3 years for a response from Benny on what was a simple amendment to a divorce decree. Multiple messages left and emails without a response.
No work done. A waste of $1500.
A few months ago, To check the responsiveness as a new client, I completed their online form. The next day Chris returned my call. I came clean and explained that no would return my calls. He said he had no record of my calls and asked for the emails to Benny be forwarded to him. Guess what? No reponse from Chris either.
If you need an attorney who will respond at all (it’s been 3 years), go find someone else.

After getting in a fight with my younger brother I was arrested and tried as a Felon. After consulting with the Salcido Firm I knew I was in the right hands. He did everything in his power to help me end the case quickly and got me dropped down to a misdemeanor with court probation. Thanks to him I was able to return to school and continue my education. The firm's prices are high but I wouldn't expect anything less from some of the best lawyers in Utah. He kept me informed on everything that was going on in the trial, went over all possible senario that could happen depending on what I wanted to do and explained to the fullest why it was a good or bad idea at the end I took his advice and proceeded the way he thought would be best I put all my trust and my freedom in his hands and he didn't disappoint. I would hire him again without question.

I hired Benny (Spencer) Salcido in 2015/2016 to help with my DUI case. I was given a "refusal to blow into the breathalyzer" even though I did blow into the breathalyzer once, and it pulled a reading, but wasn't deemed satisfactory. Their was an obvious and clear abuse of police power that can be seen from the dash-cam videos of my arrest.
Not only did Benny (Spencer) not push to have the refusal to blow dropped, literally the only thing that he was able to "consult" for me was changing the community service requirements to wearing an ankle monitor instead. I'm not sure why community service would have ever been part of the agreement in the first place, if I can't drive, how am I supposed to get to community service?
Benny (Spencer) frequently ignored my emails and phone calls for weeks at a time, and I was hardly ever updated on my case. He claimed he took it to the attorney general, but I honestly don't really believe that.
So, after the $5,000 dollars I spent on Spencer, I still received an 18 month revocation of my license, an ankle monitor, fines like crazy, a drunk-driving course, and now that I have finally have my license back, I still have over a year with a breathalyzer on my car.
For a first time DUI, where I didn't blow too much over the legal limit, this is ridiculous. If I hadn't hired Spencer, I probably could have negotiated the exact same outcome.
To Spencer's credit, when I got the DUI I was frantic, and hired the first DUI attorney who would answer the phone, so that is on me for not doing my due diligence.
I absolutely would not recommend hiring Spencer, especially if you have a unique case. If you want someone to just push you through the system and not truly fight for what is in the best interest of their client, then he is your guy.

Salcido Law Firm helped me so much with my felony charges.
I don't know how He did it, but I served no jail time, and Not only did He, ( Benny Salcido ) get some charges dropped, the one charge that stuck will be completely dropped providing I successfully complete probation.
Benny is very genuine and honest, he really listened to my story and presented it to the court in a way that they understood and showed me compassion. I highly recommend these attorneys.

My attorney was very communicative throughout the entirety of my case and always kept me updated. He was sure to tell me all of my options and possible outcomes. He approached opposing counsel with professionalism and respect, but a strong stance on the most fair outcome for me.

I lived in Utah for a few years during college. I had a DUI-Drugs in 2000, and discharging a firearm within city limits down in St George in 2001. I live in MA now, where both of those convictions make me disqualified for life for any firearms ID. With those 2 convictions on my record I would never be able to own or purchase a firearm of any kind for the rest of my life! Benny (Spencer Salcido) determined that having my DUI expunged would remove it from my record. He was also able to negotiate with the St George prosecutor, and have my discharging a firearm conviction reduced 2 steps down to an infraction. With the expungement and reduction complete, I was able to apply for a firearms license in MA, and was approved with no questions. Benny was very knowledgable about the process, and walked me through all the steps. The St George prosecutor took a long time to get back to us about the reduction, but Benny stayed on him to make sure it got done. I would highly recommend Benny to anyone needing an attorney for this kind of criminal record work.
