My wife was injured in a car accident a few years ago. We started off trying to deal with things ourselves. It didn't take too long for us to realize that we needed help in dealing with the insurance company. We sat down with Mike to discuss our case and we felt confident in that they could help us. Here we are now at the end of the ordeal and we are extremely happy with all that they were able to do to help us out. I am so happy that we went with them. They made a very stressful situation in our life into something manageable for us while my wife recovered. Special thanks to Barbara for her help and also to Brittany, She really showed incredible expertise in her knowledge and handling of our case. She new the "what and when" at the right time to get things done. Thanks Mike to you and your team

I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Wiseman during two misdemeanor criminal defense cases while he was acting in the capacity of Public Defender for Springville Justice Court and I want to document the respect and gratitude I have for him. He has always been willing to proceed in accordance with my decisions, but only after making sure that he provided me with a clear understanding of the potential consequences of those decisions. In doing so, Mr. Wiseman has demonstrated his willingness and ability to act as a trial lawyer and even appellate lawyer when in the best interest of his client. Whereas other public defenders often, in my experience, allow the sheer volume of their caseload to limit their strategy to negotiating plea agreements with prosecuting counsel, and advise clients against fighting charges, not because of the strength of the case against them, but because it is faster and easier to do so. Unfortunately, it is my opinion that the widespread prevalence of such practices has facilitated many local law enforcement officers' attitude of superiority toward the general public, and even toward the law they have undertaken an oath to enforce (...enforce, but apparently not abide by), routinely violating citizen's (defender's) Constitutional protections as matters of standard procedure because it has become apparent to them that their actions and testimony will be accepted prima facie (despite the fact that doing so places the accused of being guilty until proven innocent). These attitudes and practices have a terrible effect on the general public's opinion of law enforcement, resulting in the utter polarization of law enforcement and minorities (in particular) all across the country. I have personally suffered the misfortune of having my Constitutional 5th Amendment Rights violated by law enforcement during an encounter in which I began as the victim of a violent crime and ended a suspect. Sadly, when I sought to suppress the evidence obtained during the illegal search and seizure, the prosecuting attorney ensured me that if I stopped pursuing the suppression of the evidence, withdrew my claim of misconduct, and plead guilty to the charge, he would not seek any jail time at sentencing, instead recommending a combination of fines, treatment, and probation. However, he made it exceedingly clear that if I were to pursue the suppression of the evidence and thus went on record with my attorney interrogating the arresting officer about the "alleged" (and later accepted) violation of my rights, if I were found guilty, the prosecution would be asking the maximum sentence of six (6) months in jail be imposed. While I understand the nature and purpose of using plea bargains to save on legal costs, this felt more like the District Attorney attempting to protect the offending officer from having to admit any misconduct by threatening me with jail time if I pursued the matter. As it happens, I believed that the circumstances of the case and relevant legal precedence were in our favor and so chose to pursue the appeal as a matter of principle. To show law enforcement that they cannot violate the laws they have sworn to protect just because they wear a badge, and to demonstrate that there are some individuals left who are willing to stand up against such abuse of power. Luckily, after ensuring I was aware of the potential consequences of pressing the matter, Mr. Wise was happy to pursue the suppression of evidence based on violation of 5th Amendment Rights, and did an excellent job both preparing the requisite legal pleadings and interrogating the officer in such a manner as to support our Petition under oath. Long story short, the only evidence in the case was thrown out during appeal and the initial conviction was remanded. I couldn't be more pleased with Mr. Wise and am sure your experience would be similar.

Mike McKell has provided top service and knowledge with 3 people I sent to him. He helped my sister through the process of a horrible car accident where the other parties insurance was in another state and would not return phone calls. He was able to get my sister compensation for her totaled car, hospital bills, and recovery for missed work. He also helped my aunt through a workers compensation case. Thank you Mike!

Mike has been extremely honest with me, and has been extremely personable. He is always kept me informed as to what is happening with my patients that we have referred to him for help with their auto accident. He gets things done in a timely manner and has always made me feel as though the work I do is very important. I don't have to worry about him telling me one thing and then doing something else. He always make sure I get paid for the work that I do and has never asked me to cut my bill. He exudes the highest level of ethics and morals of any lawyer I've worked with. I would recommend him to anyone. It's nice to know I have someone I can trust.
