I usually go to the Tavern, or Rain. We decided to try Summers for my birthday. We were a party of 8. We went to the roof, there were plenty of open tables. We were told they had no space. They sent us to the cellar. After 15 minutes we were told they only had one server, and to try the roof. We ended up going to the Tavern. We were seated immediately, and had a great experience as usual.

We dined at the rooftop restaurant inside. They had a bar which was fairly busy. We had a nice view. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially our server Erica. We had wine, water, and iced tea before the meal. The hush puppies were an excellent choice for the appetizer. The salmon was good, served over tasty rice. The filet was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked to medium rare in a delicious sauce that really made it pop! The asparagus was slim, tender, and better than any I've ever eaten. It was accompanied by au gratin potatoes that balanced the meal very well. We shared a peaches and cream creme brulee topped with fresh blueberries. Easily the best creme brulee I've ever had, and it's a dessert I frequently eat. Erica checked on us often, and even brought some warm rolls with whipped butter while our dinner was being prepared. Our drinks stayed filled and we felt like a king and queen. I highly recommend Summer. Restaurant!

The atmosphere was 5 star and it was a perfect weather evening in May. I was there primarily for food and good food at that. The wedge salad was good and not overpowered with blue cheese. The candied bacon was a nice touch. The main entrée was the salmon that was served with skin side up, with the strawberry glaze on top of the scales and bloodline intact which I had to scrape it off to get to what was a nice and flavorful salmon. I did not enjoy doing the removal of skin and bloodline! It should have been on the bottom or removed completely prior to serving. The black corn bread was a sad attempt at creative baking. With that said, I would go back and give it one more try on the main entree. The Tres Leche cake was very good with a lovely spicy hint of heat, the view beautiful and the wine list adventurous. The hope of a new chef brings promise of better dinning in the future.

The food, from appetizer to salad, entree to dessert, was amazing. The young lady who served us was so professional and pleasant. The space is so unique and the view was beautiful.

We had reservations for outdoor seating but it was anticipated to rain. The scheduler was prepared and contacted us ahead of time with the weather update and the option to sit inside or reschedule. We chose to have dinner in the cellar. The setting was so romantic with soft lighting and candles. We were able to watch as the food was prepared. Each meal was plated with perfect detail and ample portions. Our fried vegetables were full of flavor, light and crunchy. The wedge salad was crispy and so delicious with the perfect amount of dressing. The ribeye my husband ordered was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth tender. I was able to cut through my scallops with a fork and the flavors, with the addition of the strawberries and blueberries were the perfect compliment. The chocolate torte for dessert was sweet and savory. Our server was pleasant, professional and timely. We had a delightful 28th anniversary dinner!

Food was good, wait staff was very friendly.
