epic service!😈🙌 they got this one bartender who looks just like “Weird Al” Yankovich off the cover of the Michael Jackson’s “Bad” parody album, super epic! 🫡🤟👑if the town of abingdon had a abingdon chillest and illest achievement it would go to Robert and William of summers rooftop 🎉🍾🤌

Popped in to the Rooftop bar for a drink and decided to stay for dinner- Charlie and Sarah were able to work in a party of 8 within an hour and it was well worth the wait. The entire experience from Food to Service was exemplary. Hard to believe this 'Michelin' level venue is in our quaint little SWVA town of Abingdon. Bravo!!

We have dined multiple times at the Summers restaurant, both in the cellar and on the rooftop. We've enjoyed each and every meal! Definitely worth going to! Whether the intimate setting down in the Cellar or looking out over historic Abingdon and the Iron mountains! We can't wait for our next meal here.

My wife and I were long over due for a date night away from all the kids and chose to eat in the cellar. Even though it was a Saturday, it felt like it was just her and I down there. Being from the low country of SC, I chose the shrimp and grits and all of my expectations were exceeded. The plate was beautiful, the grits were perfect and the bell pepper gravy tied it all in great. We finished our evening on the roof with a sweet treat and wine. It was more than going out to eat, it was an actual experience for us. I can’t thank y’all enough!

Both the Cellar and Rooftop have been a magical dining experience in their own special ways. The moment I stepped out on the rooftops outdoor dining patio, my breath was taken away by the panoramic view of Abingdon and the Blue Ridge mountains. The atmosphere is unique to any restaurant in the area, very welcoming and warm yet with that special night out feel. The Cellar is cozy and makes me feel like I was in a Prohibition era locals only speak easy. The food is good the drinks the best, ask for Charlie Berg, to recommend a wine for a selection that will rival the best of international wine cellars, the staff and atmosphere are par none in the region. All in all a very special night out in beautiful Abingdon Va.
