I came into the Virginia office on Tuesday to speak with a lawyer since I was wrongfully terminated , that didn’t end up happening , instead i was greeted with kindness and listening ears from the receptionist. I can’t remember her name but all while I was very upset about the matter she treated me with kindness, respect & heard what I had to say. I came in right before closing and she was kind enough to stay an additional 30 minutes to talk to me about the lawyers on staff, the process and she even helped me with the inquiry form on her own computer. If Spiggle has customer service like that then there’s nowhere else I need to look to get the help I need.

I was in an unthinkable situation with my employer; I had no idea what to do next and began looking for legal help. After several paid and unpaid consultations. I was just as confused now as I ever was. One day, I was on the internet, and the Spiggle Law Firm popped up. I contacted Spiggle Law Firm for help and guidance. They provided me with clarity, understanding, and guidance, not to mention a way forward to get beyond restless nights and stress. Now, I'm comfortable with the options The Spiggle Law Firm provided. Jessica Greer and Rita Williams, professional feedback and assistance provided me with clear pros & cons and probabilities with proceeding forward with representation.
From our very first conversation, The Spiggle Law Firm's team of Lawyers, Legal Assistant, and most importantly, the Client Happiness Coordinator, were not just remarkable, but also a source of immense relief. Their videos and Q&A were the support I needed to navigate the process, even though they were sometimes overwhelming. But they were instrumental in making my counseling session go smoothly, and my mind was truly at ease.
Now, the cost, no hidden fees, and no writing in five points where you need a magnifying glass to read. They tell you the cost upfront and not based on service. You have all the information to go forward or not, and the fees are based on what you want to do. You are the bus driver, and I like the fact that there is no pressure on sales. I will refer and seek The Spiggle Law Firm services again if needed. I've been extremely impressed with the Spiggle Law Firm, which confirms that there are law firms out there to help people not just to take their money. They are very professional and well worth the cost.

I found myself in an unimaginable situation with my previous employer, I had no idea what to do next and began looking for legal help. Contacting Spiggle Law Firm is the absolute worst thing you could do if you need help and guidance.
I had everything in my case- recordings, emails, text messages, and witnesses. They ask you for a $4,000 retainer and then if they don’t view your case as your employer broke the law you would only get charged $695 for talking to a lawyer and then refunded the remainder. Once you give them a $4,000 retainer you have to give them a checking account or credit card number on file so that they can pull $2,000 from it every 30 days thereafter to keep in a trust account. The best thing that came from this was Tom Spiggle‘s legal leverage that I spent hours listening to and taking notes. I knew exactly what I needed to have so that I wouldn’t waste the lawyers time asking silly questions about stuff that I could figure out on my own. I had everything in order. I even knew from the legal leverage recordings what I should ask for in compensatory damages and severance. The first draft of the demand letter, my lawyer had no idea what to ask for these damages- when I told her what the legal leverage said she had to talk to her supervisor two times and then agreed that I had the correct numbers. She charged me for all the meetings she had to talk to her supervisor when I learned it all from listening to the legal leverage recordings their firm provided. By the time my demand letter got sent, they had charged me almost 4 times the national average. When my old employer got the demand letter, their lawyer asked for my recordings in which I immediately told my lawyer “no” but instead of listening I had to go back-and-forth with my lawyer for over a week and she charged me an additional $2,000 to tell my employer they couldn’t have my recordings. In the end after all of this back and forth, my employer sent back the demand letter and basically said I was lying about everything. A typical employer response I found out. Talking to Spiggle after all this they realized that they had overcharged me $1,000 here and there and because they felt so strongly about my case they were going to file my mediation paperwork without charging me and credit back $1000 into my trust account. I was sitting at $7,000 spent and had gotten no where. Over the next month they did file my mediation paperwork in which they proceeded to charge me an additional $2,000 bringing my total to $9,000 spent and my mediation paperwork had just been filed. Waiting for mediation I got an email telling me they were going to draft an additional $2,000 to be put into my trust account for the work that was going to getting ready for mediation. $11,000?!? I had lost my job, I am a young mother of three and trying to make it off my husband’s income while I searched desperately for a new role. I emailed them immediately and told them I didn’t feel comfortable proceeding any longer with their law firm. My lawyer replied and said she would submit to end the contract immediately and had the nerve to charge me for firing them!
Here’s what I learned through the whole process. I wanted my severance, I wanted my employer to know discrimination, harassment, and retaliation were not OK. Mediation is FREE. You can apply without a lawyer, when I told my mediator how much I had in legal fees she almost threw up. the average costs of cases with legal representation through demand letters, mediation and resolution- average $6,000, higher end $11,000. I was going to be at $11,000 without even beginning mediation with Spiggle. Mediation was great. In the end my mediator helped come to a favorable resolution with my previous employer.
Spiggle is awful. They don’t have compassion, they don’t care about the outcome of your case, my lawyer didn’t even know employment law.

Update: Spiggle corrected their billing mistake only after I left this review. Before leaving the review, I asked them via email to correct their mistake multiple times, but they kept putting me off. As soon as I wrote this review, they called to let me know they'd be refunding my consultation fee in full. Then they called to confirm I had received my refund. Then they called me to ask me to update my review.
Literally the worst experience I can imagine. Do not recommend. They will tell you anything just to get the consultation fee from you. They prey on people in their most difficult situations and then make those situations worse.
