I recommend the services of Carmichael Ellis & Brock. I retained the services of Yancey Ellis for three criminal charges and with his help all three charges were dismissed. I also recommend him to get charges expunged. Yancey was also always available to help or advice and explain throughout the process that lasted 10 months.

Yancey Ellis represented me against the U.S. Government (U.S. Marine Corps) when I was facing a General Court Martial, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, military retirement and up to 45 years confinement. Some of the charges were challenged prior to trial by attorney Ellis, and as a result, some were "withdrawn without prejudice" before the trial began. I was a senior enlisted reservist who was mobilized to active duty, Pentagon, who also stood to loose my civilian career in law enforcement job and with the government having an unlimited budget, reach, resources, outside tele-communications companies assistance, banking institution information technology experts, and financial and analytical subject matter experts from the highest level of the Marine Corps who supported their efforts, they were still no rivalry for the argumentative competence of Yancey Ellis. His words to me of "I'm on your side" were an understatement. Additionally, at the time of sentencing, with the government being so convinced that they had proven their case, which was fraud, making false statements, filing false travel claims, theft of over $100,000, lying under oath, just to name a few, there were a courtroom full of high ranking military officers present to observe the success of the prosecutors and the government. Their assurance went as far as having pre arranged escorts present to transport me immediately to the brig. But that's why I hired Yancey Ellis, and after his powerful closing argument, disputing all the evidence presented by the U.S. government, and raising doubt in the validity of every witness against me, the judge immediately ruled "NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES." If you have clearance issues that need to be resolved, you simply MUST call Phoenix and her team. I had a very complicated case, and had contacted several other prominent firms. I ultimately chose Phoenix due to several factors, including lower per hour charges than other firms. This was important to me because I knew my case was a complicated one, and would take a lot of time. I'd have gladly paid higher rates if I felt that other firms would have represented me better, however upon our first consult I knew Phoenix was simply the best lawyer I could have fighting for me. She is very professional, quick to the point (time is money, and she wasted none of my time), knowledgeable, and most of all she is super aggressive. I worked hard to produce the items she directed me to get, and Phoenix and her team got to work setting things straight. As she guided me through the process, I realized there is simply no way I would have been able to navigate my way through the situation on my own. If I could only give two pieces of advice to someone experiencing clearance issues, it would be: 1. Get legal representation. Your chances of success will drop significantly if you don't. 2. Go with Phoenix. She will fight hard for you, won't waste your time, and charges fair prices. At some point you have to ask yourself how much is clearing your good name worth? I promise you won't go wrong with Phoenix. She cleared my case within record time (really-it was absolutely record time) and I was back to work with minimal disruption. Truly, I can't say enough about how hard Phoenix advocated for me. If I could give 10 stars she'd get it!!!
