In late 2019, James Granoski represented me at a civil trial in Virginia District Court. He talked me through the process ahead of time, made strategic decisions on the use and timing of evidence, came well prepared and was poised and effective throughout the trial, resulting in a decision that went our way, plus an award of all attorneys fees as allowed under the statute. Highly recommend!

We enslisted this attorney's support with an undisclosed short sale in February of 2010. In our initial meeting, he promised swift action, and to keep us informed throughout the duration of the suit. Swift action was key as the property we were set to close on was being foreclosed (the seller failed to disclose that the sale was a short sale and subsequently failed to appear at closing). James gladly took our deposit of $1500 and indicated he would file a Lis Pendens and complaint immediately. That was in the end of February. Weeks passed and he would not return phone calls or emails. By the end of March I finally managed to make contact with him. I asked for copies of the work he had allegedly done on our behalf. Two days later he sends us copies of the Lis Pendens (filed a day earlier) and the complaint (which had still not been served). The complaint was a sloppy copy/paste job of an earlier suit he had filed, and had the wrong names in it. I have requested an invoice from him several times after telling him we no longer required his services, and have yet to hear a word back from him. Nor have we received any of our deposit back. Before enlisting his legal services, I would do a quick Google search as part of your due diligence. It will clearly show a history of professional misconduct. James is not someone you want represnting your legal interests.
