Most people loathe hearing from lawyers, a sentiment I certainly share, with the exception of Aaron Christoff. He treated my case and myself with genuine compassion, care, and kindness that I’ve never experienced before from an attorney. Amidst the mayhem and distress of family legal proceedings, I couldn’t suggest a more apt lawyer to retain for counsel. Without Aaron’s sensitivity, support, and emotional intelligence, I would’ve been far more miserable throughout my case. Furthermore, he possesses an extraordinarily vast knowledge of divorce laws in the DMV and a strategic mind that allows him to produce the most optimal results in any given case, regardless of its complexity. My situation was unprecedentedly nuanced, and Aaron maintained a professional demeanor and levelheaded attitude during every issue. Compared to other divorce lawyers, his rates are strikingly affordable, particularly given his rapid, thorough, and informative responses. I have had six different family law attorneys in my divorce over the course of two years. Aaron Christoff is the only one of them well worth the money. He really cares about his client's interests. The court respects him. His legal analysis was exactly on-point, and his motions were very well written. I wish I had found him at the start. To be clear, the Circuit and JDR in Alexandria are kangaroo courts that will destroy parental relationships through their sheer laziness and abuses of discretion. You need good representation to stand a chance. Aaron Christoff is the only time I've found that in Virginia.

With a very delicate and critical matter at stake and less than 5 days before court hearing, I could not find an attorney whom I felt comfortable with. Aaron was my divorce attorney for a very complicated, very tough case. He was extremely professional and excellent to work with. Aaron treated me with the upmost respect for my time. He would always make sure conversations and emails were kept brief and to the point, in an effort to respect my time and money. I know I saved money working with Aaron (rather than other attorneys with cheaper hourly rates) because Aaron was incredibly efficient with his time. He got more done in a shorter period of time than others I've worked with. But what was most important, Aaron resolved all of the issues related to the divorce, helped me get full ownership of my house, and got me divorced quicker than expected. Aaron is the first lawyer I would hire in divorce, prenup, or any family law matter. He represented me in my military divorce and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He is prompt with communication and responses, professional, pleasant and humorous, gets to the point quickly, and is understanding of the pressures and time commitments on the client's end. He does not overcharge and keeps his billables in mind at all times, which cannot be said of most divorce lawyers. Furthermore, he does his research and gets the right answer for you, and always has your best interest at heart. His paperwork is solid, he has a good relationship with the courts and counsel in the local jurisdictions, and all in all, he made this as painless a process as possible for me. Aaron is a busy lawyer but he is organized, efficient, and runs his office well. Highly recommend!
