I hired Ms. Mitchell in December, 2016 to represent me after my ex wife had me arrested on a protective order violation. The case involved a temporary p.o. that was issued in civil court while my ex was attempting to have a civil protective order issued against me. This order was dismissed in court, but she filed a complaint against me when I posted a note regarding custody of our children on a shared Google Calendar. While another attorney in her firm helped me with the initial arrest, Ms. Mitchell was immediately in touch with me. After the initial consultation at which point she received the particulars of the case, she devised a plan for the defense. Not once did she deviate from that plan. She understood the particulars of the case AND the history between myself and the complainant. Every step of the way, she was confident and secure in her knowledge of the case and was reassuring in the process while keeping me abreast of all possible outcomes. In the end, her professionalism, knowledge and toughness succeeded in getting the case dismissed. I highly recommend Ms. Evelyn Mitchell as an attorney. She has a no nonsense approach, is tough as nails and fights for her clients and has a thorough understanding of the law and of the procedures of the justice system. Her pedigree is impeccable, as well, and I expect that she will accomplish great things beyond her legal career.
