I used Sean to help me upgrade my OTH discharge. On our first visit, Sean was extremely professional and caring. He listened to my story with full attention. We went over my medical, mental and personnel records and made a timeline from when I first joined to when I left the service. Eventually, we put together a well designed case to submit to the Naval Discharge Review Board. I was not expecting it, but Sean was able to upgrade my discharge to full Honorable from an OTH. Even after opening up his own firm, Sean stay true and kept me up to date on my case. I cant thank Sean enough, it has been a long journey but I finally got the discharge that I truly deserve. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs help, it was a blessing to have found and worked with Sean.

Sean represented me for a Navy Performance Board of ROTC disenrollment. He understood my case and help prepare for the case. The process and long but he never failed to communicate with me and work through every process very thoroughly and in the end, he helped me get back into the Navy we won the case together! I will be a soon-to-be commissioned ENS in February and I cannot thank him enough! Would recommend him to anyone and would have him on my next case as well. He was very friendly and very organized and helped me be very professional during the entirety of my disenrollment process. I am very thankful for him. He is a great lawyer that will fight for you.

Sean was an incredible advocate for me. I felt lost and helpless in my situation before I met Sean. He was patient and understanding at times when I was emotionally charged. He always got back to me swiftly when I had questions or concerns. Sean is also incredibly knowledgeable. If he didn’t know the answer right off hand, he always knew where to find it. It was clear to me that he actually cared about my situation, and that was very comforting. You place a lot of trust in your attorney, so it was nice to know he cares about his work and his clients. 100% recommend Sean to anyone!

I met Sean Marvin, who practices military law. I had long term outstanding school loans and I had also received disability. Even though I wasn't active or a vet in the service, Sean helped me. He always explained step by step what we were going to submit and the possible outcomes we could expect. He kept at it. He was always on time and very organized. He is patient and produces results. My entire loan was forgiven. I would strongly recommend him.

I met Sean through a friend. From the first meeting to the last he was always punctual. He was very understanding and concerned with my situation. I had a drug possession charge and knowing my daca was going to expire soon; Sean did everything possible for that to not be affected by the charge. I submitted the renewal and my daca got approved. Sean was also very informative and kept in touch. If you ever run into trouble Sean is the lawyer to go to!

Sean Marvin is an excellent lawyer who will fight for you. Sean developed an excellent plan to handle my legal situation, and with his knowledge and experience he was able to negotiate a deal which allowed me to continue on with my career with a minimal impact. I would recommend anyone who finds themselves in trouble both in the military or not in the military to contact Sean for legal assistance.

Sean represented me for a Naval Board of Inquiry. As his first "Navy" case, I was a bit apprehensive about his ability to deliver, however, his legal experience and positive attitude quickly put my concerns to rest. Throughout the process, Sean was engaged and responded quickly to texts, calls, and emails. I felt that Sean took my case as seriously as I did and developed a solid plan of attack for the board hearing. He meticulously reviewed every doccument and statement pertinent to the case and when it came time for the board, it was evident that he was well prepared to represent me. In the end, Sean was able to help me secure a "No Basis" vote and I was retained; able to continue to serve this great nation as a Naval Officer.

When your rights, well-being and military career are at stake, you need a seasoned Military lawyer (Sean is a JAG CPT in the Army Reserves and a combat veteran) to give you the best expert advice and represent you with confidence and skills.
Those are the words that led me to Sean A. Marvin’s office when I found my 20 year career, character and personal reputation in jeopardy. Over the course of the next 6 months I found that Sean's expertise, skill and tenacity in the arena of Uniform Code of Military Justice are unmatched. His intimate knowledge of the military justice system, expert advice and preparation/review of my rebuttal matters to the Commanding General (CG) saved my career. The Commanding General decided to file the GOMOR locally, thereby preserving my career and retirement.
Thanks to Sean, my family and I are able to continue serving the United States Army proudly and with honor. If you are a member of the military and find yourself in need of legal representation, my advice is to call Sean A. Marvin Immediately!

Sean represented us in a civil case against a dealership of a nationally-known brand. Although it was a case with a relatively modest desired outcome, Sean was consistently patient and understanding, while at the same time a forceful advocate that wouldn't let the company push us around. Likewise, he's extremely experienced, conscientious and lays out all the options while treating you like an adult and very reasonably-priced. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I would highly recommend Sean Marvin. If you are looking for a quality, intelligent lawyer who produces results, he is the right person to contact.
His attentiveness and genuine nature, while remaining very composed and professional, are definitely some of his strong points. He does not give off a superficial vibe, and he is very patient and delicate with information.
His communication skills are superb. I explained my point of view on my case, and he relayed it to the judge and prosecutor extremely well. He understood what I awkwardly narrated and presented it in a way that produced conducive results to my well-being.
If I had to describe him in one word as a lawyer, it would be "unique". Throughout my entire time working with Sean, he has been concerned about my case. He remained informed about the situation and what was going on in my life effecting it, even though the case was postponed three months. That takes dedication.
I have observed interactions and rapports between friends and acquaintances and the lawyers representing them, and I have found it highly disappointing. The vibe of superficiality often was there. The lack of response when emails and phone calls were not followed up on left people often frustrated and feeling unheard. Sean never does that. If you call or email him, he will get back to you. If he has not heard from you, he will catch up with you, making sure that you are okay. That is highly rare.
I personally would hire Sean as my lawyer, hands down, if I ever need a lawyer again. At least with him, I know I am getting the real deal, someone who is smart, who I can trust, and who can produce results. I hope you take my recommendation into account. You will not be disappointed.
