Yancey Ellis represented me against the U.S. Government (U.S. Marine Corps) when I was facing a General Court Martial, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, military retirement and up to 45 years confinement. Some of the charges were challenged prior to trial by attorney Ellis, and as a result, some were "withdrawn without prejudice" before the trial began. I was a senior enlisted reservist who was mobilized to active duty, Pentagon, who also stood to loose my civilian career in law enforcement job and with the government having an unlimited budget, reach, resources, outside tele-communications companies assistance, banking institution information technology experts, and financial and analytical subject matter experts from the highest level of the Marine Corps who supported their efforts, they were still no rivalry for the argumentative competence of Yancey Ellis. His words to me of "I'm on your side" were an understatement. Additionally, at the time of sentencing, with the government being so convinced that they had proven their case, which was fraud, making false statements, filing false travel claims, theft of over $100,000, lying under oath, just to name a few, there were a courtroom full of high ranking military officers present to observe the success of the prosecutors and the government. Their assurance went as far as having pre arranged escorts present to transport me immediately to the brig. But that's why I hired Yancey Ellis, and after his powerful closing argument, disputing all the evidence presented by the U.S. government, and raising doubt in the validity of every witness against me, the judge immediately ruled "NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES." I was caught in a speed trap, where the speed reduced before going back up again. I told Sean that I wanted to avoid losing points or having my insurance premiums go up. He made me take a specific driving class which took work, but he told me it would pay off and it did. At court he was able to get my 19 over reduced to a no point offense non moving violation, which means that I will keep my good driving record and my insurance will not go up. Also the firm as a whole was very responsive, they answered any questions I had, made it easy for me to sign a waiver of my appearance so I did not even have to come to court and take time off work. Overall a fantastic experience, I would recommend Sean and the firm for any court involvement you have. I was also impressed with all of the firm's pedigrees, all three of them have been involved in criminal law for a long time, and they know what they are doing. Hopefully I do not need to use them again, but if I did, I would not hesitate to have them represent me.

Sean Sherlock was able to get a PO dismissed when the lawyer is the accuser realized there was video that showed I never put a hand on my ex wife. He was very professional and helpful. After speaking with multiple lawyers, we picked Sean Sherlock. He is extremely personable and put us at ease. He handled the case with class and nailed it, with the charges ultimately dropped.
