Yancey Ellis did pro bono work for me for a charge I received after being purposefully arrested at a civil disobedience/peaceful protest. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, helpful, communicative, and responsive to all of my calls and emails. He was able to clearly explain all of the legal jargon so that I could understand each step in the process, and I always felt listened to throughout. It meant a lot to me that he was also dedicated to issues of social justice.
