I don't usually leave reviews, but the owner of this place is extremely rude. Got a call saying I was a deadbeat because he's disorganized and said I didn't pay for 2 months. I had a different lawyer show up to the hearing and he was unconfident and hesitant. Go with another law firm

I hired this group for a Reckless Driving case that I had in Alexandria in December 2017 . I was very pleased/confident after speaking with Mr. Hallam along with the attorney that I received for my case. When I showed up at court for my trial, a different attorney (who I had never met) showed up to represent me/my case. He was ill-prepared and did not seem to know the details of my case. When we went up at trial, his only defense was to quote 1 specific case law. He seemed very nervous and did not hold up any other form of defense in the court room. Needless to say, I was shut down immediately and given the worst possible sentencing (including jail time). I now have to hire another law firm to appropriately handle my appeal. I am not sure what happened, however this is not what I paid for. When in line to file my appeals at the clerk's office, other people who were also in the courtroom to witness my humiliation, recommended a few lawyers as they were under the impression that I was being represented by a public defender.

Nova legal group was very helpful in helping me to avoid a DUI. There lawyers are friendly non judging and very good at what they do. If the need for legal help ever comes up again they will be my first call.

They got me out of my charges, and worked with me on payments. I sincerely appreciate them so much!!! Amazing team / teammates, I'd refer them to everybody!!! Thanks Again Guys!!! <33

Mr Hallam is great! very nice and friendly and provides tons of information. Went out his way and called on a weekend and late at that! However, I went over my dui case and with the information I provided and its information they still have (nothings changed) I was told that most possible outcome will be to plea to a wet reckless (which I was ok with) before I hired them. I was told that Josh would be handling my case but now I am working with another attorney. Since I've hired them I'm getting less and less confident that they can even help me get that plead and I'm pretty much paying them to just have legal representation and to plead guilty to a DUI but get a very unnecessary refusal I was charged with dismissed per current attorney I'm working with (and even that might not be possible!). I'm giving a 3 star review because they are very customer service friendly and offer great information and payment plans but so far they aren't what people state they are in the reviews. its hard to speak with a attorney even with left a message to have a return phone calls for days. I do plan on giving more or less stars depending on how my case goes on the 19th but for now I say they are an ok law firm and one I would look into if you don't have the money to pay anywhere in the range of 2k-5k all at once. I'm hoping they can prove me wrong and really help me get the best outcome! update Got John for my last court appearance, as expected I did get convicted of the dwi with the refusal dropped. John is really great! he did put a fight up with this very tough prosecutor but sadly he was only able to get the plead with guilty to dwi and all the problems that come with it. I'm going to leave my rating at 3 stars just because it is VERY difficult to get a hold of anyone at this law firm. Otherwise once you meet with them its very informative and they can get you the best results they possibly can. Id ask for John cause he is very knowledgably about attacking the case and find many weaknesses. Not happy with the outcome but I'm sure I got the best result I could of possibly get so I'm grateful for that.

I want to start by apologizing to attorney Keith Hallam for taking this long to write my review. I want to thank Mr. Hallam for his professional and caring service during a recent consult. My family and myself found ourselves in a situation that had nothing to do with us (can’t get into detail of case) when I got a call from a family member that police were in our home. Shortly after arriving home I realized I needed legal advice. I googled and called a referral line. I was directed to Nova Legal Group and spoke with attorney Keith Hallam. From the first moment I spoke to him to the last time I spoke with him Mr. Hallam has been very professional, kind, caring, understanding and almost like family in providing legal advice. He provided me with his cell phone number same evening as it was late at night and he had picked up my call as he was leaving his office. He availed himself for several hours that night while we dealt with the legal system providing timely legal advice to resolve the matter in a favorable outcome. I want to commend Mr. Hallam for not mentioning once about cost for his services while he was providing the service that night. When discussing fees for his service the following day he was understanding and adjusted his fees as well as offered a payment plan. I could say a lot but will summarize by saying that finding someone to take a call at such late hour of the day, avail himself directly via cell phone and listen with compassion like a family was beyond what I could have asked for. I never had to retain a defense attorney in my life, pray that I will never have to in the future but I am glad to have met Mr. Hallam and I will not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family or use him myself if the need arises. I found myself in a bit of trouble and luckily called Attorney Keith Hallam. I talked to a few other Attorneys before picking him, but he seemed to be the one who best understood my case and his demeanor was by far the best. From the moment I called him he gave me good advice on how to go about my case. He laid out a plan of action and made sure to explain to me in detail exactly what he would do. He ran through different scenarios and told me what we would do (as other options) depending on what the Prosecutor and Judge said. He pretty much predicted how things would go step by step, and worked with the other Lawyers in his firm to make sure we were going about my case the best way possible. In the end HE WAS SUCCESSFUL IN DEFENDING ME!! I WOULD GIVE HIM 10 STARS IF I COULD!! Hopefully I don't find myself in trouble in the future, but if I do he'll be my first call!
