When shopping around for an immigration attorney we ran into a lot of lawyers who seemed far less competent than Rachel and who were merely out to squeeze as much money as they could out of us. As an attorney myself (patents not immigration) it was a little easier for me to recognize these things. Rachel is a very good attorney who puts her clients first. Whether your case is fairly simple or more complex, I would highly recommend her.

Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with - always responsive, knowledgable, informative and made me feel like I knew what was happening & under control at all times - from the big picture to the minor details. I wanted to write about the great experience I had with Rachel. My husband was sponsoring me to come to the US and had hired another lawyer who completed our application and left us with a lot of questions such as why couldn’t I apply for a work permit. After many months, we decided to get second opinion on our situation and spoke to Rachel. Rachel explained the process to us including that I could apply for a work permit. We asked for her to take over our case, her pricing was fair and she was very professional and responsive. I received my work permit a month after she put the application in, she corrected all the errors on our application from the other lawyer, she came with us for our interview and now I am happy to say I have my green card. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I will continue to use her for any other issues I have.

Mr. Monaco was very professional every step of the way and very responsive to any questions we had. He went through all of the paperwork with us, as such there were no errors on anything and our process was completed quickly and efficiently. Mr. Monaco also held practice interviews with us so we knew what to expect and to calm our nerves. I highly recommend Mr.Monaco, he is nothing but professional and does his job very well.

This lawyer's forte is to find the slightest difficulty in your case and blow it out of proportion in order to scare or discourage you from filing for a visa. At one point he mocked me in front of my spouse and asked if "they really wanted to be married to me". He will talk for an hour negatively and pretentiously and then take your $150 for the consultation. He is the prototypical lizard person lawyer. He previously worked for the US Government and he is on the side of the immigration and customs enforcement. He decides arbitrarily (based on your particular race) who should be a citizen and who should not. He creates a confrontational mood during the interview which I believe is a carefully planned tactic in order to finagle the consultation fee and not have to do any work. Avoid at all costs.

The lawyer was extremely professional and she was very patient when answering our questions. While she was very busy, she always replied to messages within hours. She's very friendly and always has a solution for unexpected problems. She'd helped me successfully sponsored my wife.
