To say disappointed is an understatement. If you have had a consultation already, don't be fooled into thinking that this lady will do her best for you. Please do yourself a favor and find an attorney that will do the work that you hired them to do unless you have money to waste. Retained Ms. Ovando and she has not returned my calls or email. She took my money and ran . Update: Attorney provided a refund of the retainer.

So Ms. Karin Porter’s reputation precedes her. It is my complete pleasure to write this review. Ms. Karin Porter is a magnificent defense attorney. I have dealt with A LOT of lawyers, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen an attorney so strong, professional, informative, and caring of her clients. I have met with many lawyers so I know how confusing, short, and impersonal they can be. Ms. Porter was nothing but informative, honest, fair in pricing, and most importantly caring. I felt confident that she would give me the best possible outcome and she did. If you are to choose any attorney to represent you in Fairfax County, I strongly recommend you retain Ms. Porter.

Karin is simply amazing. I was wrongfully accused of a serious felony, and due to being an out-of-state resident was denied bail. She successfully motioned for my release. Then, she expertly deployed an investigator to gather evidence that would have otherwise been lost. Finally, she successfully had my charges dismissed. Her experience and knowledge of the law directly lead to the dismissal. Afterwards she even advised me on getting my arrest completely expunged. Don’t bother with public defenders or lawyers who just want to plea your case down, regardless of the circumstances. Hire Karin and expect results.

My attorney Bill Turner was able to convince the prosecutor to drop the case at the preliminary hearing. He is very throughout with every detail. I would recommend him if anyone needs a good lawyer.

Sometimes I think people take more time to complain than to praise. But there is nothing but praise for Mr. Flynn, who was assigned to a family member's case, and with all things considered (personal info), Mr. Flynn got him the best deal possible. Without Mr. Flynn, things could have been much worse for this family member. Let me get specific...Mr. Flynn treated my family member with respect & compassion; he LISTENED to my family member and took into account the motive and reasons for something unfortunate that happened. Normal places and lawyers seem to want to churn through their clients, but not Mr. Flynn. Once the deal was offered, we pondered it together as a family. Mr. Flynn did not push my family member either way, just offered his expert advice and allowed my family member to make his own decision without pressure. After we met with the judge, Mr. Flynn sat with us again to explain everything in GREAT detail and answer any & all questions we had. We felt informed. We felt respected. And we felt that Mr. Flynn really cared out his client. I was taken aback at the way he immersed himself in our situation. Once all was said and done, Mr Flynn sat with me and told me that, although my family member did a bad thing (off his meds), he said that he believes this person to be a truly good person who found himself in a bad situation. I believe he truly, ooly cares. I will be grateful for that for a long, long time and yes...I would recommend Mr. Flynn to anyone smart enough to choose him. I told him to tell his mother that she raised him well. :)
