As an out of state driver, when I was charged with speeding while visiting family in Fairfax, I knew that I would need help. Karin was one of several lawyers that I considered retaining. During my free consultation I could tell that she would be the best defense attorney to work with. Every defense attorney I spoke with highlighted that - beyond the law and the facts of the case - the outcome would also be influenced by the people involved (e.g., the Officer, Prosecutor, Judge, etc.). Karin is a former prosecutor for the Commonwealth of Virginia - and so her network and deep understanding of the people involved was incredibly helpful to me. Beyond that, Karin is everything you would expect from your attorney: attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and tough (in a good way). I am very pleased with the outcome of my case and thankful to Karin for her support. I would absolutely recommend her for your defense needs!

In mid-April, we contacted Ms. Ovando in hopes of hiring her for a Family Law case. We scheduled a consultation for Friday AM at 9:00. Ms. Ovando did not appear until after 10:00. Still, her excuse was credible, and my husband continued on with the meeting. It ended with her telling him that she would send a retainer notice and contract in the coming days. Since that time, both of us have called three or four times, and my husband emailed her additional information. We have not heard anything from her -- that she wants the case or doesn't want the case. Even a courtesy call from her paralegal telling us that she isn't interested in our case would be helpful. What is one supposed to do?

Ms. Porter was extremely professional, helpful and kind in assisting me with a reckless driving ticket, especially with my total lack of knowledge for the legal proceedings. Julia was so helpful in providing me with advise on handling a very strange custody situation that involves immigration. She answered all my questions, and asked a lot also which was awesome. Even thought she had to run back to court I never felt rushed by her. When I need to hire a lawyer I will definitely be hiring Julia.

I have hired attorneys in the past but ms Ovando is by far the most compassionate and kind of all, and when I sow her by coincidence in the court house I immediately knew that she would be the one to handle my case.
