Elizabeth represented me for a misdemeanor traffic infraction. This was the first time I had ever required a lawyer, so I was a little lost on who to reach out to. I saw Elizabeth's great reviews and reached out for a free consultation. When I called, she already had my case pulled up with the corresponding state law. She walked through the process and was very forthright about the possible outcomes. I hired her to represent me and could not be happier. Before the trial on the court date, she spoke to the officer who pulled me over and then the prosecutor and was able to get my case dismissed. It was exactly the outcome I wanted. Irrespective of the outcome though, I was impressed with Elizabeth's dedication and commitment to me and my case.

Elizabeth was an excellent attorney in representing my case in which I was dealing with a serious traffic infraction. She was very professional and knowledgeable from the get-go, helped me file a motion immediately, and was able to get my case moving in the right direction. Art vonherbulis a man who lived and breathed and an enforcer of the laws of the common wealth of Virginia , as he instructs and scene by scene, and episode by episode walked his driving class through the experience of 40 or more years, the stories were the edge of your seat kind, riveting I wish every living human being would be a participant.It should reality TV. I hired Ms. Tuomey to defend me from a charge of "Reckless Driving," in Fairfax County, which in my case they had charged as a misdemeanor. Ms. Tuomey patiently explained how the system worked (particularly that hardly anybody charged with misdemeanor reckless driving goes to jail!) and charged me a fair, flat fee. On the date of trial, she met me at the courthouse and told me to sit tight while she talked with the officer who had issued the ticket. She came back half an hour later, and told me she was able to talk the officer into reducing the charge from a misdemeanor to a standard ticket, saving me a lot of money in fines and extra points on my license. I found her to be professional, knowledgeable, and an effective advocate. I would recommend her to anyone needing to fight a ticket.

Ms. Tuomey recently represented our teenager for a juvenile case, and we can’t thank her enough for what she’s done for our child. We engaged her based on her Georgetown Law credentials and her prior experience with juvenile defense cases, and she did an awesome job in getting our child a fair result.
