I showed up to their office yesterday to receive legal advice from Laura Butler about legal custody and filing for divorce. I have met with her previously as she helped with my separation agreement 2 years ago. I have never encountered a more rude and unhelpful person in my whole life. She expected me to already to know the laws and how the legal system works. She gave me no advice and made me feel as though I had no business even being there. She was rude and bitter towards not only me but also her secretary who so kindly showed me to her office. I will never go back to this office again and I will deter anyone else from doing so. She also charged me $75 dollars for 15 minutes of her time and in return I received disrespect and received no answers. She made assumptions about my situation without even inquiring about circumstances. When I attempted to ask her questions about my separation agreement that she had written she quickly cut me off and raised her voice at me. The way I was treated there yesterday was a huge smack in the face. I am really not sure how she treats other clients but I most certainly walked out of there feeling more helpless and confused.

I would like to Thank Yvonne Griffin, Mrs.Roy, Mrs. McDaniel and Mr. Westmoreland. They all worked hard on my case and never left any questions unanswered.

Leila Higgins-Fleishmann is top notch and I’d highly recommend her at the firm. She knows what she is talking about, is honest and is very responsive. Her paralegal, Susan, was also incredibly helpful during a tough time. I rate the two of them as five stars. The issue lies with attorney Kelly Roberts and her paralegal, Betsy. Kelly was incredibly unresponsive throughout the process despite having thousands of dollars in my trust. I would have to send emails/leave voicemails begging her to admit she was overextended before I could get a response. She charged me fees for sending an email to tell me she could not show up to court, mind you, this was the first court appearance she needed to make. Her paralegal Betsy was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. She did a great job telling me how unavailable Kelly was, though, as if she was a bodyguard. She huffed and puffed when I asked her for help telling me she didn’t know anything about my case instead of making an effort. Leila stepped in to ultimately help me out. I was dealing with a heavy situation and I paid Kelly in full in March with a trial date set for July 8. Her paralegal emailed me saying Kelly could not meet with me until June 21 or July 5...days before the case. How reassuring was that? The statements showed that both her and Betsy look to nickel and dime versus offering the quality of service I received from Leila. Kelly did have some family tragedies toward the end of the relationship, and I can sympathize. Overall, she was not responsive for months, but made sure to charge me frequently for things like her faxes not going through. I do not recommend Kelly or Betsy. Kelly should have admitted she did not have the capacity to assist and that would have been respectable. Kelly’s former paralegal, Gabrielle, at least showed better customer service and compassion. UPDATE***** I received an email stating my refund would be processed and yet another chunk of funds were deducted with no explanation. This all happened after I told the billing representative that I feared I would have additional greedy charges from the office despite them doing nothing for me. I have now had to ask what the deduction was for instead of them being forthcoming with information.

My wife and I are very pleased with the service we were provided by the firm They work very close with the customer and keeps them updated . We will recommend them highly!

Highly recommend this group! After being in a serious motorcycle accident and lack of insurance available from person who caused it, they cut their fees to help me knowing I have a life of issues ahead. That told me they cared about me and not just another client!!!
