Fantastic! 20/20 would hire again!

The other reviewers are correct, Tom Wilson is an _excellent_ attorney who understands how to professionally manage cases, including smaller traffic cases like mine (driving faster than 55). When I “discovered” that I needed a local attorney, I quickly consulted the online reviews—it was clear that Mr. Wilson was the best person to represent me. ***Attention UVA Parents*** Tom Wilson is the attorney to call if you get pulled over on the way to Charlottesville!

I received a Traffic Violation that included a mandatory appearance in court. Several attorneys told me to expect the worst. When speaking with Mr. Wilson about my situation, he provided some excellent advice. After speaking with a friend, who had also utilized Mr. Wilson's services, I chose to move forward with hiring him as my attorney. His advice required a good amount of leg work on my end, prior to the court date. I made an effort to go above and beyond the expectations and ultimately ended up with a better outcome in court than I had expected. Although I hope to no longer require the services, if I need an attorney again for a similar situation, I would certainly work with Mr. Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was amazing at trial and gave the best defense possible in our case. He was supportive throughout the process prior to our case being heard and followed up afterward related to our positive outcome. Told my fiancé she would be home in July. Wrong by ten months and used that false calculation to pressure a plea deal. Then said that since he wasn’t being paid by the client (court appointed) that he wasn’t going to do any work after the plea was entered directly to her face. Now that his mistake has been illuminated by an update sheet with release date he’s failed to answer the five messages I’ve left. Left three more today, will update if he does better but so far he’s been worse than bad, he’s given false hopes and gotten the client to adhere to his recommendations and then disappeared when he turned out to be wrong about the math aspect. When you make someone trust you by laying out a plan for them following the plea, then the plan turns out to be totally off, you owe it to the client to do something on their behalf to try and back up your words. That’s any job, if you sell someone something and deliver something else entirely the standard is to rectify that or else be seen as a fraudulent businessman. If you get the wrong pizza you want a replacement, why is the wrong sentence acceptable without any effort to try to fix it? If the judge won’t play ball that’s one thing, when the lawyer won’t that’s a totally different problem. I have a power of attorney and he hasn’t answered any of the messages I’ve left on her behalf.
