She made negative comments on the phone - towards me and my situation. Her tone of voice was not professional as me being a first time caller looking for Chapter 13 assistance for a “second time”. I went back to my original lawyer Mr. Pecoraro and he did not berate me nor discourage me from a second filing. Told me she charges $1500 because the case would not be worth her time. Ok that’s great. I got my second chapter 13 done for $600 upfront and I didn’t get reprimanded like a child in the process. Professionalism goes a long way. Being kind and not snotty on the phone goes a long way.

Jeanne Hovenden Is the best Bankruptcy lawyer out. She helped me thru the process and her communication is top notch. I definitely recommend and I would give her a 10 star rating if I could.

Mrs. Hovenden was very understanding, very professional, and very personable. She was easy to talk with and very patient with our many questions about the bankruptcy procedure. She explained things in detail, and never made us feel uncomfortable about our situation and having to file bankruptcy. She was always respectful, knowledgeable, and showed concern for my husband's situation - he is confined to a wheelchair due to a stroke. We would highly recommend her and her firm.

After going through a lot, Jeanne gave me great relief and understanding during my bankruptcy. She was quick to respond to my questions and concerns and showed a level of support I really needed. The peace of mind she gave me was everything I needed at that time.

0 stars. After reading the other reviews, I had a COMPLETELY different experience. Zero communication/organization. She made negative comments on the phone and when in person - towards me and referring to another client. She did not want to help me and made me feel like I was a burden on her time. I wish we both did not waste our time.
