I found Ron E Smith by googling and reading all the reviews. Decided to go with them. Called the office and left a message to begin with. Got a call from Mr. Smith the same day and he is to the point and explained the process quickly. Very good start. I met with him and again all went well on time. His fees are reasonable and in fact becomes cheaper when charges get dropped. Mr. Smith gave a set of instructions what needs to be accomplished before the court date. Anyone who needs a lawyer please do so immediately. I waited for a bit and contacted one month before the court date. There is quite some things needs to be done before court date so all goes well during the court date. They have a great team from the reception all the way to lawyers and they keep track. Completed all needed to be done before the court date and went to the court half hour before the time mentioned. Here also they have some kind of system where the lawyer can go to the judge whenever lawyer is free and I think depends on the charges. I don't know. So I have to wait for some time but some one will be in touch with you always. Actually it helped me to watch d the court proceedings for some time and in fact is an eye opener. I watched in awe how many people came unprepared. This particular judge is very nice and helps the accused with all the resources and explaining and at the same time following the law. People came looking unprofessional, language issues, not addressing the judge right way, attitude and especially without a lawyer etc., but judge handled them all with a smile. Then Mr. Smith came and talked to prosecutor for few minutes I believe and said my charges got dropped. Voila! He knows lot of people in the court system. They know him as well. I went in front of judge and judge said "nolle prosequi". Just one minute in front of judge. Charges dropped. I had one charge though and this is first time and is a misdemeanor. That is it! Very professional service and they have a good system in place. You have to follow what the lawyer recommends and be smart and contact the lawyer as soon as possible once you get any tickets or charges. My take is I definitely and highly recommend Ron E Smith office. Good luck to all.

If you want a lawyer that's going to be honest with you about your case and how to handle it Mr. Smith is your guy. He gave me the tools I needed to have my reckless driving charge turned into a speeding ticket. It was my first offense and I had know idea what was going on. See I work in the state of Virginia and but Liv in Maryland. I had know idea that driving laws for each state where so different. But thanks to Me. Smith he was able to educate me and help me to make sure I can still drive and work in Virginia.
