I was fortunate to have J. Richardson represent me regarding a legal matter that I could not be in the state to manage. She was on top of everything, kept me up to date the entire time and process. As well quick to answer any questions I had and assist me when needed. I appreciated the feeling of security created by her professionalism and attention to detail.

I had the pleasure of hiring Jessica Richardson for my attorney, who works under Patrick Anderson. Jessica was a great attorney she did everything in her power to make sure I had a great deal, had mini charges facing me and with the help of her and everyone at their office I was able to get a fantastic deal and way fewer charges than what I was anticipating. She was very responsive very determined and very motivated not to mention she was just a great person in general we would sometimes have off-topic conversations just because of how personal she can be and how much she can relate with her clients. Not to mention they have a great receptionist by the name of Gaynelle Who was always a bundle of joy every time I walked in the office or called the office phone. I hired Jessica in September 2020 for probation violation for my son. He had other charges pending so it took several months for it to get to Fairfax. When in fact it did, she was unprepared, cancelled his transport order and extended his court date out almost two more months. She filed no motions and made no court appearance. One thousand dollars of my $4500 retainer went to her supervising Atty because she needed his advise. I was also charged, without documentation, for other services rendered that I did not receive. I was chastised for “wasting my money” hiring a different Atty who had my son released in just a few days. When pressed for a refund it took three weeks for their firm to manufacture said invoice. No details no supporting documents just a made up spreadsheet. I will be filing a complaint with the bar association. Buyer Beware!

This firm is excellent. They know the law, and they know all the judges and prosecutors, too. PAtrick Anderson was very patient and knowledgeable, explaining to me how the system works and all of my options. I could have lost my license, but instead, I received only a fine based upon a reduced charged. This firm is aggressive, yet they showed me the kind of caring and respect that helped me manage a high-stress time. I chose this firm because criminal defense law is ALL that they do, and I wanted a lawyer who specializes. It’s just like finding a doctor — you wouldn’t go to a general practitioner if you have a serious heart problem. The same thing is true with picking a lawyer. If he/she tells you they do a variety of different types of law, the chances are that they do not have the time to stay current on all the changes in criminal laws as well as keep track of all the judges, prosecutors, and sheriffs in the system, so they can tell you what to expect from different ones. I had a great experience with Patrick and with another lawyer at this firm. I highly recommend them to anyone.
