I just wanted to drop 5 stars for Ben Griffin for his professionalism and knowing how to execute. I was so worried about my reckless speeding ticket but Ben handled it professionally by the law and the case was dismissed completely. I was referred to Mr. Griffitts by another friend who had a reckless driving charge in 2019 and ended up with a competed dismissal. I also retained Mr. Benjamin Griffitts for a reckless driving charge to represent me at Alexandria City General District Court. I was extremely worried and nervous about its bad impact on my personal and professional life in case of conviction. In our first conversation, he listened to me very carefully & patiently and noted my statements. He explained to me the nature of the charge and possible outcomes. He also suggested me to do couple things before the trial date. He assured me that he and his team will do their everything possible to obtain best outcomes. He called me two days before the court date to touch-base everything he did and to ensure I am ready for the trial. We went to court and he presented all the documents to the prosecutor. He successfully convinced the judge, prosecutor and and the cop to dismiss the case which they did. No demerit points on my record, no court fee and no fine to pay. I am so regretful to Mr. Griffitts for all his efforts and the outcomes he secured in my case. Hopefully I wont need a lawyer again, but if I do, his phone number will be my first dial.

I retained Ben for two reckless driving charges and from the very beginning he made me feel at ease. The first one: A driver hit me on the highway and wrecked his car, because of the interaction of the vehicles the state police charged us both with reckless driving in October 2019. Ben represented me when I was out of town giving me the ability to concentrate on work and all the other things in life that required my attention. He understood the sensitivity of a charge like this, even when COVID-19 shut the courts down and our case was continued all the way until November 2020 he made sure I knew he was taking care of everything. When we finally had our day he worked with the district courts to have this charge reduced from a Class 1 Misdemeanor to an infraction, the end result was I pay a fine and case is closed! The second charge was a reckless driving by speeding. I immediately called Ben and told him about my interaction with a very unprofessional officer, who did not even properly fill out the summons, questioned why I was in the neighborhood which I live in and charged me with speeding when I wasn't. I retained him again to fight this one all the way. End result, the case was dismissed! I'm almost 40 years old and this is the first time in my life I have ever had to hire an attorney and I am so glad that Ben was the guy. He was able to explain to me everything I needed to know about my situation, the law, how it applies, what could/may/might happen, what I need to do to prepare and he answered all the questions I had whenever they came up. The police officers, deputies, bailiffs, other attorneys and all the people in the courtroom knew I came with the best. Ben is a true professional and advised me to ensure the best possible outcome for my cases. He never filled my head with any false hopes just facts and came to the table with experience. At a time when I was facing charges that could impact my driving record and have serious consequences on my career Ben was there to guide me through the process and get me results that I could not be more happy about. For me, I know I have found a lawyer for life should I ever find myself in this situation again.

Attorney Griffitts is the absolute best attorney in Prince William County. A little while back I was charged with a DWI 1st offense. Worried about the implications/consequences that it could have on future professional and personal endeavors, my current secret clearance, and travel destinations - I searched for a lawyer quickly. I spoke with 5 lawyers, but knew that Attorney Griffitts was the best lawyer to hire! Having worked at law firms in the past as a paralegal and after discussing my worries and a game plan for what I thought would be a possible reduced charged, I knew that Attorney Griffitts would be the best. Attorney Griffitts was responsive and very easy to talk to. One week out from my court date, and the entire charge has been dropped!! Nolle prosequi!! Without his help, I don’t know what would have happened it my case.

When my son was attacked I called about 10 attorneys to interview them about representing us in court. Ben did a great job representing me in a recent proceeding. He got my charge dismissed and made the whole process so easy. Before hiring him he went over his plan with both me and my father and spent about 1 hr talking to each of us. He showed a lot more care in my case than other lawyers and was very personable.
