For several years we had been thinking about hiring a law firm to set up an estate plan, and attended several introductory seminars presented by local lawyers in Northern Virginia. Then in 2020 we heard Paul Abraham of PJI Law speak at a local church, and also met Lydia Beals, their client liaison. Following several contacts we made the decision to work with them. We have been very satisfied with their work. They answered all our questions promptly and efficiently, and made us feel very comfortable with the process. On occasion we needed more time to make important decisions and they were always ready to accommodate us. We highly recommend PJI Law.

The PJI Law group are the quintessential professional group we have ever used to help us in legal issues. They helped us establish a trust fund for our family. Everyone we met with were highly professional and provided outstanding advice. They listened to our concerns and took a personal interest on us.

My wife & I had put off a very important project for years in creating and funding a Living Trust, primarily because of what we knew was a pretty daunting task. However, we decided to get this taken care of and was referred to PJI. This turned out to be one of the best referrals for any service we had ever received. The entire team was involved, from the initial meeting and signing ceremony with the owner, Paul Abraham, to the detail work and signing ceremony with Richard Phillips, to Lydia Beals who coordinated and attended all of the meetings as well as providing wonderful follow up and genuine concern for us. The amount of work they did to be sure everything was correct in the legal documents of the trust and the funding items was incredible. When it was over my wife & I looked at each other and said "Why did we put this off so long? They made it very straight forward, understandable and not daunting at all". Someone filed against me regarding a matter in civil court, and I hired Brian Szmak for representation, here in Alexandria, VA. He was very thorough in letting me know what my options were, and kept me informed about my situation the whole way through. He was able to easily answer any questions I had about my case, just from his knowledge of case law, the statutes in Virginia, and the legal standards we were dealing with. There was never a point where I felt like I didn't know what was going on or what the next steps were. This matter could have honestly gone to court, and I would have been 100% confident in Brian's ability to represent me at trial. But he was able to work out an arrangement out-of-court that I was happy with, that made this whole thing go away. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the outcome. I am extremely Satisfied with Brian's expertise with my Husbands case. He was facing 2 charges. 1 assault and 1 sexual battery. Brian was very responsive from the Beginning of this case to the End, answered all of my questions, gathered as much evidence as possible, and payed very close attention to detail. I couldn't have made a better choice on hiring an attorney to prove my husband's innocence. He really went out of his way for these very serious charges and I am so very thankful to Brian to see my husband come back home to our family.
