Brian Drummond is a good man and an amazing lawyer. We met Brian via referral during the most stressful and scary time we had ever experienced as parents. I knew we were in good hands during the first minute of our phone call, a call that was returned in less than 15 minutes. He didn't try to pretend everything was fine or sugar coat the difficult stuff, but we always felt ok because Brian was handling it and communicating regularly. It was all on the table and we tackled it together. He shows up at court even when he doesn't need to be there (arraignment, in our case). He is THERE for you. In addition to being a super NICE man, Brian exemplifies partnership, excellence, and leadership. When you hire a lawyer, you need him to be good. Brian is the BEST. He can cite laws by name and number. He can interpret them for you clearly. He knows when they change -- in a slight or nuanced way and a big way. He can discern over the phone the gist of your issue before he sees paperwork. He explains your issues clear and understandable, and explains how it will be handled through the Court. He knows how to interpret the legal issues works to help you get the best outcome. He knows what to expect in court -- he has EXPERIENCED it all and knows to expect. He is knowledgeable about the Court, the people at the Court, and how your legal issues will land there. Other little things that are good to know about Brian: - Brian helped us get the very, very, very best outcome. Better than we all thought. - Several people stopped to greet Brian at Court -- an elbow bump (coronavirus) with smiles. All the people know him and like him. This will help you too. - One Sunday night, he emailed back and forth with me for an hour because I was a wreck -- he was realistic and patient and really, really kind. - His rates are very fair and reasonable. - He works on the board of at least 2 charities. I hope I never have to hire a lawyer again soon, but Brian would be the one I would call. You should call him too. It will be the most important call you make during your difficult time.
