I was pending a reckless driving charge and I did not realize how serious it was until I did research that it is a class one misdemeanor. Fairfax has a notorious reputation for being 'tough on crimes' of this nature: aggressive speeding (90/55). With Mr. Ervin I did what I was told, was given an accurate picture of pros and cons of my case, including variances in personal and judicial prospects. While I do believe that the judge I faced was more 'open' to fairness and consideration, I was very happy with the way Mr. Ervin represented me in terms of listening towards accurately painting my character and circumstances for the judge; he was empathetic, realistic and supportive in just the right way. Also, he was knowledgable with regards to the Fairfax County court systems, judges and officers, which is necessary in this unprecedented time where the omittance of a prosecutor, who would normally participate in negotiations, can have real dire consequences. Very Disappointed in the staffs behavior, my fiancé and I Were potential clients, we made Several calls to the office, with every call an appointment was made for the attorney to give us a call ,however after not receiving a call for 3 weeks Straight from Anyone in the office we decided to follow up, we First spoke to Amy, we asked if someone could please follow up and we informed her We would follow up if We didn’t hear anything by the end of the day, interestingly when we tried to call back our number was blocked, therefore we had to call back again but this time in private so the call could go through, we then spoke to Tracy, tracy was very rude, sad to say after just wanting a simple call from this office and not receiving any call back we have decided to try elsewhere.
